Howdy Texans fans!

Just dropping by to say hello and to wish good luck to you and your team this season. From the looks of things so far, David Carr seems ready to take it to the next level this year. How's Dunta Robinson looking? Things appear to be going pretty well down here...I'm just anxious to see the Jaguars' defense when the real bullets fly!

Until next time...

Go Jaguars!

This year will be fun for both of us as I smell a rivalry brewing with us. Good luck except when you play us.

Jaxon...you are a rare breed of Jaguar fans....thanks for posting with "class" and best of luck on your team for a healty season.

3....2....1...0 and the Texans win.
Oh sorry about that.

I know your defense is looking good how bout your QB. Has he been as impressive as expected?

I'm very excited about Carr however with Walker I'm starting to worry about the defense again. Here's to hopeing you guys get second place in the divison this year. Indy plays third string with the Titans pulling up the rear.

I think all three quarterbacks (Byron Leftwich, David Garrard and Quinn Gray) are looking good. Leftwich is looking comfortable and confident in the pocket, but still has to get in sync with the receivers, especially on deep routes. Garrard looks to be fully recovered from his bout with Crohn's disease and is increasing his potential trade value (for next season). Gray is developing nicely. They all have a lot of room to improve, but I'm pleased at where they're at right now.

Is G-funk hurt again?

Yeah he pulled his groin, and is expected to miss 7 to 10 days. We likely won't see him on the field till the regular season opener.

I think the biggest issue for the Jaguars is DE. Hugh Douglas was a bust last year. Can he regain the glory of his past? Tony Brackens (yes the UT alumn) got cut for the upteenth million time last week. His injury status still lingers. I would guess that will be either their big free agent signing or first pick in the next offseason.

Welcome Jaxon

Hope ya have fun at the board. Its pretty much the best place for information on any sport and any team. Hope yall have a good season but not as good as the Texans of course.

Nobody answereed his question regaring Robinson the rook, so I will say that he has the jets for catch-up speed and when he gets to know the receivers in the NFL a little better he will be a good one. Thing that surprises me is how well he tackles for his size.

How are your receivers looking jaxson, especially Reggie Williams? Is it expected he will see much playing time this year.

I might be able to help you out on this 1. Reggie right now is at #3 but i fully expect him to jump Troy Edwards for the #2 spot. He started slow but has been doibf really good lately. Jimmy Smith is as fast as ever and is looking good. Im not to sure about Troy Edwards tho. 2 other players that will be looking for playing time with be Cortez Hankton and Ernest Wilford.

JV, you're like an albino Rhino. I know they exist, but I've never seen one before. Very classy "intro" and you are indeed the exception to the rule. This is one of the 5 percent of Jags board members, that apparently think, are serious fans and dare I say, "WELCOME any time !"?

I have to agree with Jaxon about the receiver situation, but I would not be surprised to see Wilford grabbing that number 3 spot and maybe even outplaying Reggie. It should be interesting to see. Also, the loss of Tony Brackens (the only UT player on the Jags roster) hurt me quite a bit. Hopefully, the Jags can add a new Longhorn player soon who can last as long and be as productive as Tony was. Lastly, I can't wait until Oct. 31, I hoping to be at the game and hope for another classic like last year with a different outcome. Should be a fun season in the AFC South. :thumbup

Reggie Williams started off slow, but looks like he is getting the hang of things. He and rookie LB Daryl Smith will start against Green Bay tomorrow night. If they hold up well against quality opponents, they will become the permanent starters. I'm very excited about the upcoming season...but aren't we all? =)

Here kitty kitty kitty, Now get in there and dust off my seat and if you could paint it Red and Blue before I get there next year, first of next year. February, it'll be kinda like a Birthday present. And good luck getting past us this year your gonna need it.

Hey, Welcome to the board Jaxon. You seem to be quite an exception compared to other Jags fans, are you sure you arn't a Texans fan stuck in a jags fan's body?

p.s.- Can't wait for the coming years of battling it out at the top.
