We don't see them until Nov. 21st. But ..planning ahead ..found this chart of how they are doing. :hmmm:

When the season started I had the Packers picked as a playoff team as a wild card.

I watched some of the game last night and the Titans put the hurt on them. At home no less.

I'm beginning to think Favre has got some injury issues; their defense got stomped on and the Titan receivers and McNair had a good game.

Is this a team on the decline?

I love it :headbang:

Favre has a bruised brain. The defense is in shambles.
Thats the problem the pack has right now.

Packer Fans are litterally calling the "acting owner" and asking for Shermans resignation.

Bring em on , Lions are going smack em up.

It was interesting last night. The Packers seemed totally out of synch last night and unmotivated which is not like Favre at all. Although I do understand he had a death in his immediate family so that may explain that.

Even Madden and Michaels mentioned that the Packers crowd was not themselves.

They both said they were kind of quiet for a Packers crowd.

I don't know who they have lost too but something has knocked the steam out of them.

Favre probably has 2-3 years left in him which is enough to train his replacement. The real question seems to be whether or not Mike Sherman will have a job after this season. The Packers look atrocious.

Favre put up over 350 with 2 TDs. Sure the 3 INTs hurt and I could care less who won the game.

But thanks to Favre's performance, my fantasy team kicked major tail this week. :woot

Favre handed them the game last night and it seemed like Jeff Fisher was trying to run up the score in the second half. The Packers made the tacks look like the Colts last night. Both teams are bad, but I guess the Packers are much worse.

you know, if my brother in law just died and I suffered an out of body experience after a concussion, I too would look bad playing quarterback against an NFL defense.

I don't think it would take all that for you to look bad against NFL defense

One of the announcers stated that Fisher had previously told him that he never 'sits on a lead.' That might explain the appearance that he was running up the score. I do believe he was sitting on the lead the last series but the Pack allowed a score anyway. :twocents:
I hope our players weren't watching that game and now consider the Pack a gimme.

To me there are no "gimme" games. Remember the Chargers?

Something is not right with the Pack this year though.

I wonder which hole was made by Chris Brown on Monday night. lol:

I understand about not sitting on a lead, I heard it being talked about at the TOMB and everyone there laughed about it, they said that in the past Fisher always sits on the lead. Anyways, the thing I was talking about was the trick play they ran in the 4th quarter when they were already up by 3 touchdowns. To me it was a little ridiculous.

I guess Fisher thought since the Packers were playing like it was a practice he'd go ahead and practice that trick play.

I'm torn about scoring. You see so many teams get ahead and then just sit on the ball and a lot of times the other team will catch up.

So the theory is you shouldn't sit on it and try to score. But if you do that you are running up the score.

I don't know. Maybe there is no right or wrong here.

The packers and the Titans are the same. If McNair or Favre go down, or even struggle, then the team looks like ****. I would like to see Indy without Manning.

I thought Ahman Green would have kept them in this one, but I guess he is in a funk as well.

On the decline? I would say it hit the bottom with that loss last Monday. To Loose both run-stopper and their best Cb isn't making them better. And the injury of their center leaves a big hole for every Dt to run directly to Favre. The backup i totally unable to block effectively.

I believe, that Tennessee scored that fast the first two TDs that they were able to take the crowd out of the game.

now that is a creative fan

As far as running up the score, I have to say that the 4th quarters have been very unkind to the Titans this year. No lead has been enough or safe for our defense. I think Fisher still thought a QB of Favre's caliber could torch this young team.

Someone got smacked alright.

lol:  You got that right. Smacked right back into reality.

And Reality was.

Roy Williams did not play
Kevin Jones got 2 carries

The whole team got smacked up.

I am ashamed to be a football fan and call myself a lions fan this morning. I can take a loss, but not like that.
Even the packers getting blown out was less embarassing than what just happened.

Don't take it so hard.......hell, we thought we were going to beat the Lions and see what happened.
BTW you didn't make any avatar bets with the Packer fans did you? :hehe:

Lets just hope that the Pack continues to struggle until AFTER the Texans add a few more holes to that block of cheese :hehe:

Roy Williams did not play

Don't make excuses. You basically said your team lost because Roy Williams did not play. We were without our #1 and #2 RB yesterday and won by 10 points against the titans, who blew out the Packers last Monday, who blew you guys out yesterday.

Excuses ? Thats the fricken reality

The Lions only had 39 plays on offense the whole ****ing game.

Jones had 2 , count them 2 CARRIES, consider that not playing
Pinner our #2 back had 6 carries, consider that not playing
Bryson our #3 , had 3 carries, consider that not playing

the running backs were held to 18 yards. Joey Harrington was the LEADING RUSHER WITH 12 yards!!! OMFG.

18 FRICKEN YARDS.

And Roy is the lions best offensive player. It makes a difference, the lions had roy for Half of the falcons game , and the half they didn't have Roy they looked like ****. It's not an excuse it's a fact. Roy Did not play ,
Jones might as well have not played. Heck might as well just lined Billy Simms at RB it wouldn't have mattered. The packers would have one that game no matter. But it wouldn't have been an a complete blowout. the lions might have had more than 1 first down the entire game. Maybe the lions offense would have been on the field longer than 20 minutes.

Excuse? They aren't excuses this is how things are for the lions every year.

We lose players, the lions have 15 players injured right now. 16 if you count rogers on IR

would have had 17 if Bly was still unhealthy.
Of 53 players , we are missing 16!!!!!!!!!!!

What I was saying, was Roy and Jones didn't play, and reality for a lions fan is we are a pathetic joke of a franchise. with Roy and Jones playing, we wouldn't have looked like the same old lions, it would have been a sad loss.

That game was close the first half, then the Packers just shut down Az Hakim, and that was it for the lions offense. If we had roy and jones it might have been a 60 minute football game.

Without them it was 30 mintues.

Not saying they are the reason we lost. we lost because we suck. BUT I LIKE ATLEAST THE LIONS TO PRETEND THEY ARE PLAYING FOOTBALL.

That junk wasn't football, no team in the league has played that stank all year. Not even the Dolphins play that bad.

Don't get upset. I was just giving you a hard time because of the Lions win over us a few weeks ago. I was just razzin ya man. :thumbup

Normally I don't explode like that , but that was the lions chance to RIP THE HEART out of the packers, to send Favre into retirement, to KILL them.

*begins to cry* sorry

Let me put it this way, at least you don't live in Miami or Tennessee, and at least the Lions snagged some young talented players in the draft who just need some time and repetitions. The stinkin tacks won't even be able to draft any players next year because they won't be able to pay them!
