I'll take Mr. McNair at his word that the organization hasn't made a decision yet.

Well first of all McClain is a "columnist", which means he's paid to write his opinions, and his opinion on VY/Bush is fairly well documented. So the fact that it appears "biased" is irrelevant. This article was a weak attempt to still lobby for VY. The whole article came down to the last sentence, which was pathetic.
I actually do believe that he and the organization have made up their mind. They will "evaluate" and then come to the decision that Reggie Bush is their guy.

although I'm not sure what scouts (none that I have heard from) say that Vince is the best leader to come out of college since Elway. At least this article is not pure Vince propganda like some of McClain's other recent stuff.
They aren't going to extend Carr's contract for 3 years and then draft a QB with the #1 overall pick.

If the texans take vince young after a serous evaluation will you believe it or will you just say they took him because he is a hometown player? This decision will not some down to young vs bush. It's going to be young vs carr. The new coaches evaluation of carr is going to be the major factor in this decision. If he thinks he can develop carr into a great nfl qb, young will not be in a texan uniform.Zephyr said:This article was a weak attempt to still lobby for VY. His whole argument (mentioned in another thread) is that Kubiak will not be able to pass up VY when he says how much he loves Houston! If Kubiak will make a decision on something silly like that (he won't), I would not want him as HC. He will make a football decision. McClain's brain has shut down permanently!![]()

He tried to be unbias but gave way there with the Elway comparison and the last paragraph.![]()
