yep, I agree. That this team beat the Colts in week 1 is what blows my mind, because I didn't even see a shadow of that week 1 team yesterday. It's bizarre to see such a hot and cold streak in a team, and sadly, it reminds me of those Oilers teams from many years ago.

Yah but even with the colts win, we were 3-4 plays from getting beat, not hating but just saying that hte colts receivers make a few less drops, it's a different game.

Don't really understand or get this Kubiak hate from a lot of his strong supporters over the years. So many people were so excited about the Texans and Gary again this year, and now a lot want him out of here because we're 3-2.

Gary is the same guy who he has been the last 4 seasons. If you didn't see the problems in the way he coaches in those 4 years and you were confident in him going into year 5, then you should be just as confident now. These are the Gary Kubiak coached Texans. They're playing the same way they always have under this guy. Just because we're 3-2, doesn't mean that we can't make the playoffs and and have a pretty nice season. I get really sick and tired of people wanting him fired one week and then after two nice wins, acting like he's the man and thinking it's ridiculous to bad mouth this guy. He is who he is as a HC. I haven't seen this guy change or hardly adjust as a HC since he's been here. If you didn't think there was anything wrong with the guy after last season, then you should stick by him now, because we already had 4 seasons to know what we had in this guy. The back and forth flip flopping on a HC that's been here as long as he has now gets old. You either like this guy's style of coaching or you don't at this point.

The sky hasn't fallen and the Texans can still make a nice run at it. Will it happen? I've got no idea. I'll just root for my team. I've never liked Gary Kubiak since year 2 and that will probably never change. He's here for now though and he'll probably be here next season as well, so just enjoy the team as a fan. That's all you can do.

I guess dude...it's still on the players too. Chess pieces don't commit 76 penalties on the field (71 of those on special teams, lol)...so while, yeah, i can blame the coaches...Schaub sucked, run blocking was awful and the defense was ****.

If you're playing without "aparK and you're committing LOTS of penalties... those are hallmarks of a poorly coached team. Kubioak's right. The 'uninspired' play we saw against the Cowboys / Giants is HIS issue, as is the horrendous offensive out put yesterday. The people around me finally started to look at what I kept saying - We had far too many first downs with #44 on the sideline. We had one of the best rushing games in the NFL and we were going against the #22 rushing defense. You have to almost deliberately try to fail in that situation and that's just about what it looked like.
