Garrett Wolfe=Maurice Jones-Drew?

Maurice Jones-Drew = 5-7, 212 lbs.
Garret Wolfe = 5-7, 177 lbs.
Both have good speed, and quickness, Jones-Drew has much, much more running power. I don't see Wolfe being anything more than a change of pace back in the NFL, Jones-Drew could be a legitimate every-down back. Not to throw errant comparisons out there, but in terms of physical build Jones-Drew is the closest thing in the NFL right now to what Barry Sanders was, although he obviously is no where near the talent that Sanders had. If anything, Garret Wolfe is similar to Warrick Dunn, probably not quite as quick as Dunn was in his prime.

There's no comparison. Drew is a bowling ball. He was a powerful runner in college, and it's not a surprise that he's become a slam dunk in the NFL.
Wolfe is a workhorse, but he's undersized, not strong, and more of a finesse runner. Plus, his senior year wasn't as good as his junior year. I don't like his pro potential at all.

The TCU corner coming on the blitz and detroying the puppy told me all I needed to know. This ain't Barry Sanders. Agreed: anything but a day two pick on the guy is just hope and a prayer. He needs to improve his blocking. Got Doug Free as a third to fourth rounder now. The reports of Free being a day one OLT are greatly exaggerated. TCU has nine coming back off of the d for '07. Mind Boggeling. My money says the Wolf (Belichick) ends up with Thomas Baker in '08. And he will be a wrecking ball for the pats defense for ten years. Can't bottle or teach 4.5 speed to a DE. And speed kills.
