Whatever. I've been a fan for a long time, but sometimes being a fan means criticizing your team when they're messing up. Sometimes being an NFL football team requires you to do somethings to get your fans fired up, and they're doing it right now! :fans:
 
Why Risk Injury, Interceptions, fumbles or wearing down the offense? Just get the ball to the 20 and kick a field goal. Thats all this offense can hope to achieve so why risk everything else?
 
Catch and down... replay looked that way at least.

Lets hope it's changed to an incomplete though, get em' out of FG range.
 
I like our D so far, only REALLY given up a FG in the first half. (That is, I like what done, not how it's been looking).
 
Was it really a catch, or the famous "Ref is never wrong"?

I couldn't see on the replays I saw.
 
Well, we definitely won that half. Our D seems to be really we prepared to take on the rush, if we can keep that up and get more pressure on the QB we should be good.

Our O just needs to keep doing what it it did in the first half.
 
Just watched the first half away from the board. What a disgusting no-timeout by Houston.

Other than that I'm really optimistic for the 2nd half. Jacksonville's heat and the Jag's dark jerseys will take it's toll after Houston controlled the clock.

Great to be in this thing at the half!
 
Half-time thoughts:

* Defense looks MUCH better. Their run game has been nullified. The pass game looks good, but the pressure is there.

*Offense looked much more in sync. Runs look good (at times), passing game looks to be good. Johnson and Daniels are looking like viable threat.

hold on, nobody said you, and yes criticism is part of being a real fan, i was just speaking of those easy come easy go fans, but glad to know your a true fan.
 
Very solid half by our Texans. I hope they keep up this momentum in the second half. Schaub has looked solid so far. If Andre Davis doesn't get tackled by the turf monster, we have the lead right now. Great effort by the defense. They need to figure out how to take away those quick slants b/c that is all that J-Ville has right now. Reeves needs to step it up more in the second half.
 
Oh yeah. Steve Slaton is a monster 3rd rounder. Speed, some toughness, and that guy can catch. I am impressed all around by his game. His blitz pickup seems to be decent enough for him to warrant being the starter for the rest of the season.

I'd agree. Even if Green is healthy, this guy seems to be our new starter.
 
Come on Texans. Lets have some love. We've shut down their run, for all apart from one blown play. Schaub has been looking more settled and a lot better than last week (ok...couldn't look worse...). Steve Slaton can catch as well as run!

This is going to be ours to lose here...I'm happy with what we're doing.
