Gameday Thread: Texans at Colts 11-08

That was needed right there. I thought the Indy player touched the ball while he was still out of bounds which would make it dead right??

Just wondering, does the fact that Bathea was out of bounds when he and Moats touched the ball after the fumble not make it a dead ball? Moats and Bathea were both on the sideline and the ball touched them, bounced down the sideline and was picked up by Powers. Is the ball not dead when it's touched by a player who is out of bounds?

The Colts defender re-established position in bounds with both feet before touching the ball. Had he not done that, it would have basically been like a fumble out of bounds and the Texans would have kept the ball.

This has to be on Official Review this week on NFL Network.

One small piece of good news is that we get the ball first in the 2nd half.

I really hope we stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

Thanks for pulling that Shanahan last second timeout crap, Colts. I love it when that stupid, no-class move blows up in a coach's face.

They said his foot was out of bounds so as soon as he touched the ball it was a touchback. You can't really blame the officials for our ****-ups
STILL BS...he got BOTH feet back in bounds prior to touching a LIVE ball in the endzone. IF he takes a knee = touchback, he comes out to the one, then steps out. Colts ball on the One.

Either he was ineligible to be the first man to touch it (penalty on Colts), or he's out on the one...the official ruling can't have it both ways.

...and yes, we SHOULD have snapped the damn ball.
