Absolutely pathetic performance.

Carr missing wide open receivers.

Getting great returns and then getting stuffed back on the goalline because of holding/block-in-the-back.

Getting first downs and then getting it called back for holding.

Morency sliding into home plate every other play.

Wide receivers letting balls bounce off their pads and hands.

Dropping key passes that could set up scoring situations.

Getting intercepted instead of getting AT LEAST THREE POINTS!!!!

Is this our first year?

2 pics and no TD's hurt....not to mention all the drops he's had, but he deserves just as much blame, he's been inaccurate since the start.

Murphy bobbled it looked like he had it and then it bounced off of him into the defenders arms. Not on Carr at all. The rest of the throws tonigh...sheesh...he looks bad.
 
i was riled up too, but now that i think about it it is preseason and our starters have played all of 2 or 3 series up to this point, we just need to knock the dust off and kick some ***

Normally I dont like doom and gloom but that first half was absolutely pathetic :brickwall

LOL I was thinking the same thing.
Like someone said before, I'm glad they are playing so bad in the preseason when it doesn't count.
 
So, first half....

- impressive D at first, seemed to lose a step as the game went on though.
- Oline - wow, we actually have one. Now just stop the penalties
- D Carr - refuel on some wheates and throw the ball through the tire this week.
- RB's - Davis and Morency looked good.
- PBuc - I think Swinton's got your return duties.

i wasnt talking about carrs pass, i was talking about bledsoe throw to the endzone that went out of bounds
 
Well, as a saving grace for the Texans, it is PRE-SEASON.

But apparently they are forgetting it's the Cowboys. You've gotta have that fire against the cross state rival.
 
How many more yards could Morency have if he wasn't wearing roller skates? I'd like to blame the crap field at Texas Staduim, but no one else seems to be falling down like he is.

Not really. The defense did pretty well. Got pressure on the QB which is something everyone has been calling for. Offense.....well, that's another story.
 
Mathis had two good returns, both offset by holding penalties though. I dont think we have had a punt or kick return not have a holding penalty.
 
This team should have the starters play the whole first half against Tampa Bay as well. They are not very sharp, and Buffalo will be merciless.
 
I think Peek is looking pretty good on defense- that would be great if he could manage to get some sacks for us this season.

They're done. They need to sit there miserable rears on the bench and let our second team unit come in and win this game.

I don't want to see ANY of our first unit out there in the second half.

I'd rather lose this game with our second unit out there than to play our starters longer than usual just to win this game. And TRUST me....I'm a big Cowgirl hater and like to see us beat them, but the facts are the facts. Our first unit stunk it up tonight with Carr the biggest culprit. His rushing for the first down is the only positive thing he's done tonight. He finally gets some good blocking and acts like he doesn't know what to do.

No way do I want to see our 1st unit out there in the second half. Sit down. Sip your gatorade. And watch the bench warmers do your job for you. THAT would be the best remedy after what I've seen this first half.
 
And another thing:

I watched the Bills play the Bears today on NFL Network....

They are going to run havoc over us if we play this way on opening weekend.

They lost against the Bears, but trust me: They looked very good on both sides of the ball all game long.

Unlike us, looking like Pop Warner Pee-Wee league kids on Ecstacy out there. :play:
