Game day: Week 17- Texans vs Ravens

LOL. I notice the Texans are playing at the end of the half and it's 17-2 so I go downstairs to grab a piece of cake and spend a few minutes talking to my wife. By the time I come back upstairs and turn the TV on it's 31-2? OK, this team is trash. 2023 was something of a fluke it seems. They snuck up on people with the new players and system but nothing to see here. No offensive line? They've had two years now to address that and the cupboard wasn't (supposedly) empty when DeMeco and Slow got here. Nothing has changed.

Oh, I see Carr.... I mean Schaub..... I mean Wats..... Stroud collecting some garbage time stats in True Texans QB fashion.

Stroud is a franchise QB having a bad year at the same time his OC is having a bad year, while at the same time the offensive line is being it's usual horseshit self and all the receivers are in wheelchairs.
 
This will be one of the few spot reviews that gets changed that we'll ever see. Not that it's going to matter.

Thing is, the OC always goes before the first round QB. Like if you can’t coach a top 5 pick QB then you can’t coach, if no one can coach the top 5 pick QB then that’s when you move on from said QB. Slowick gets canned before the franchise really questions what they have in Stroud.

I’m not sure Slowick does get canned after a playoff appearance, though, that would go against everything the Texans have ever done, more likely to have a statue built than sack a coach who reached the playoffs.

You're not risking anything leaving them out there. No matter what happens they're going to be one and done in the playoffs and everyone should be back in time for training camp and talking like they're a real contender again in 2025.

I will agree he has been under lots of pressure this year…. Look how much time he has had at times today!!
NOBODY is open. And he can’t throw it away. He wants to throw the hero throw! Scramble out of it or throw it away!
This team has lots of issues, CJ included. He’s not at the top of the list but he’s one of them

Stroud says the same thing every week and nothing changes regarding his play.
