Game Day: Texans at Broncos

Nice 27 second possesion there Texans. Even without the penalties, Denver had plenty of time to score. Bad, bad, bad series of plays.

So, if I could catch this game on TV, would I have thrown my TV out the window by now? More penalties huh?

yeah....this is getting pretty bad
Learned alot about our team today, a serious let down after a big win last week. These guys are just jogging out there, no fire what so ever. O-line looks particularly terrible today.

When they do something that merits some respect they'll get it.

This isn't it.

I agree. I have never complained about the lack of respect, because we still have not done anything.

What happened to the helmet to helmet contact rule? We draw a BS call for barely touching Plummer and they get a no-call on a clear personal foul. Nice.

I'm not saying the calls are not bad, but this is really starting to sound like the Jags board/fans from last week.

I really think Carr never gets that call because of the first season. It's ingrained in the refs that Carr is gonna get hit, so he never gets the benefit of the doubt. Even on obvious calls.

Respect with the refs doesnt mean **** in the NFL. NBA definatly. What has Jake Plummer done to earn respect of the refs?

BS--Plummer still had one foot on the field of play. That was a horrible call.

It was a bad call but it was still a dumb penalty. Plummer was clearly going out of bounds so there wasn't any reason to give him an extra push.

Stop crying about the refs the texans are just getting there *****e$ kicked

not really. the Refs are carrying the Broncos. This is the most blatent favoring of a team by the officials ive EVER seen. this is absolute BS.

well.. our defense needs to get fired up.... and we need a couple big plays on offense to get their defense worried.

A turnover or two along with a couple TDs and we can win this game easy. Lets hope we are still the awesome second half team we were a few weeks ago :)

We faced a bigger deficit with less time left against Minnesota, so don't count them out yet. This is where the team leaders have to step up.

Have you ever thought that if the refs called right calls, it would put the texans in a better position? The Texans are not playing very good right now, but bad calls do not help either.

So bad play makes bad officiating ok? Doesn't matter if we are winning or losing, that is horrible officiating--no crying to it.

oh.. and the calls have been questionable.. however.. saying that its "all a conspiracy by the broncos" is just *****ic. Leave it alone.. every team has games where the calls just dont go in their favor.. and where a couple bad calls are made.. but it doesnt stop the good teams from winning.

SO.. quit acting like its some big conspiracy. Also.. those of you being jerks to those who ARE acting like its a big conspiracy :)..layoff.. seriously.. the calls have been questionable.

The Texans have one chance I think to win this game and that is they have to absolutely own the second half. Denver gets the ball to start and they've got to get a 3 and out, turnover, or some kind of very quick stop. That has to be followed with a drive. 7 is better, 3 will do (but only if they follow it with 7 the next time around).

We'll know pretty quick if the Texans are going to wake up and make this a game or roll back over and stay asleep.

And they are getting their butts kicked. The refs aren't helping but it's not the refs. It's the Texans. They're playing as bad as they ever play right now.

look at the stats our D has not stoped them but 1 time and our O has done jack just be happy its halftime and our beating is halfway done

Worst performance of the year.

Most of the guys are playing very uninspired and look like they want to go home at halftime.

Whats with the DB's? 1st down at our 15 and they're playing 8-10 yards of Denver's receivers??? What the logic in that?

How can you play zone and stare and the QB for 20 seconds? Shouldn't they try and locate the receivers? Puzzling.

Since when did DD start blocking like Wells? He just watched guys run right past him on two seperate plays.

At least Payne came to play.

Frustrating!

I don't remember hearing much *****ing about the officals last week, even with several bad calls, for both teams.

We are being out played, the officals have very little to do with it. Accept it, hope the team can make the half time adjustments, and maybe we win; or maybe we don't. But if we don't it's this teams fault nobody elses.

Personally if I felt like I was getting screwed in a game, I wouldn't want to play worth a flip either. So yeah, the bad calls kill the morale of the team. Yes I know it's not the only excuse, but hey, I am just going by what I see from stats pages, since I can't watch the game. :(

QUESTIONABLE!!!!

A helmet to Helmet hit ON ANY QB now days is unacceptable. And to not call it is even worse. I dont think the refs are 'for' the broncos, but anything that is not done to protect the QB's is wrong... and you know it.

Maybe it's a side effect of hunger? What's going on right now? Is Capers in there saying:

"Here's what we're going to do! We're going to get a shower!"
"Then we're going to get dressed!"
"Then we're going to get back on the bus!"
"Then we're going to GO HOME!"

Maybe they just need a box of Snickers?

boy.. i didnt know we had so many fairweather fans :).. you get a little coverage on ESPN and suddenly everyone is a texans fan and everyone has a negative opinion.

Na, that's what the internet is for: anonymous negative posting.

dime.. yes i do know it.. who gives a flying f***? it was a missed call.. big freakin deal.. Carr aint hurt, and its not like it cost us a touchdown. get over it and move on :P.. if you really want to whine about it.. do it AFTER the game is over.
