Game Day: Tennessee at Houston

Last week the offense quit working in the second half. This week the defense gets smoked on the first drive, gets NO help when Carr throws a pick almost immediately, and then gets lit up for low-percentage passes on the next drive. Is this team quitting?

And this is neither a brand-new stadium NOR an old piece of junk. This clock stuff is REALLY annoying for the flow of the game. Hope it's fixed.

Ahem. Apologies. Having a bit of a team-spirit crisis right now. :shocked

Now we need to go get a TD. Having a red zone TD percentage less than the average of the NFL is not acceptable. Not only that...our 3rd down conversion with short yardage is ridiculous.

Come on guys- go get em!

what kind of power problems

A few weeks ago, we lost power to the whole stadium with like 2 minutes left in the game.

Today, the play clock (or the person running it) is having a bad day.

That was definitely a safety...

Why are we running a slow developing fake stretch run play backed up in our own endzone?

Oh gawd. There's gonna be a safety for the Titans.

What was Carr thinking????

ETA: Houston challenged the play???? Hahahaha. The ump means the Titans challenged the play.

Was he outside the pocket?

I think he's having problems with trying to win games by himself and hold this team up on his shoulders.

Oh gawd. Carr lost his mind and went straight to the end zone when he got pressure. He ran right into the endzone instead of throwing it away. OMG.

The worst part is that he ran straight to the endzone then fell. Why didn't he fall before the end zone, or continue running when he got there?? He was barely touched.

Should us getting the ball at the 1 be considered a moral victory? Either way, that was clearly a safety...

I can't believe how bad we are. I mean I'm not one of the *****s that was talking playoffs a few weeks ago but I'm still absolutely stunned we can be this bad. Something has to be done. Fair or not, the coaching staff should be replaced. I'd fire them today at half-time if I were in charge and bring a fan down from the upper deck to call plays.

We are fundementally unprepared to play a game today. other than a few moments against the Packers we have been absolutely noncompetitive for the last month or so.

and the replay officials suck as bad as we do. that was a safety..

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

wow, do you think carr maybe thinking about a new career of modeling now since he was named 1 of 50 sexiest men instead of football

Ok.... Now, before I say this... I really like David Carr. I think he is good. But I have been questioning here the last few weeks on his vision and decision making. He has a rocket for a arm, but his decision on a few things here lately are making me wonder. I know... I know... he is still a young QB, but he should have enough exp to know better on a few plays already today.

Is it just me or does it seem like our defense gets lit up when we play zone defense.

Edit: Sorry Vinny, I didn't look up before I posted.

Time to answer some questions, put Hollings in for Davis, moev Wong to ILB and see if Peek and Babin can get a pass rush going, and see if Earl is the real deal at saftey.

Fangio needs to go.

I agree. I like the 3-4, but with Fangio's version we get no pressure on the QB, we lose containment FAR too much, too many linebackers in iso coverage, too many big plays, can't stop on 3rd down, etc etc etc...

I'm in awe of how horrible we're playing...It's a beautiful day outside, and there's a million better things I could be doing than being frustrated at the TV...Sorry to sound fairweather, but God bless all of yall and be sure to stay safe tonight...
