Game 5 Thread: Texans @ Cowboys

GO JONES!!! If the Texans are gonna stink it up for me, at least let my FF running back run havoc over you the rest of the game.

We just lost the game and Pane. Man, Kubiak knows not what he has gotten himself in for.
 
You all are missing something important.. Even though we have losyt this game.. we have a success too. SO FAR, Zero sacks.

Jeez, this is his worst game of the year by far. When he doesn't have a running game, when the defense knows he's going to throw the ball just about every play, what is Carr supposed to do? You have to explain yourself more than that buddy.
 
If I was Kubiak, there aren't very many players on this team I would keep for next year. I would seriously cut 80% of the players.

What are you talking about? Carr threw one INT. The other was a great LB play in front of a wide-open AJ. AJ let four balls off his hands - is Carr supposed to expect that? Carr is our leading rusher. Our defense can't stop the run.

DING DING DING... you could read Carr's lips on a few drops by AJ that he wasnt very happy with either his route running or his effort, probably both.
 
Sadly I think the team does not respond well with Carr...either way if he is playing well or not I don't think his teamates will play well enough with him for us to be a playoff team. He just doesn't seem to have any leadership skills.

Stupidest statement of the day.

I have been the BIGGEST critic of Carr on this board newbie. I have been down on his the last four years.. This year, with better coaches, he has shown much better poise in the pocket, better accuracy, and ball placement..
 
I wonder if Carr would be a serviceable running back? We could use one ....

My biggest fear is that Dayne will run into Pitts and put him out for the year ...
 
If you can't run the ball you won't win in this league. It's as simple as that. Specially going up against a top defense like Dallas.

This was a game for a half because of Carr. They are running for under 2 yards a carry. We would have gone 3 and out every possesion of the first half if not for Carr's passing. Dallas has a better team than the Texans, they were favored by 13. Carr kept us in it the first half. Putting everything on his sholders is not fair.
 
Kubiak should take this team and work them in practice this week like the Junction Boys. If the Texans aren't willing to work during the game, he should make them work their @$$e$ off during practice!

If we didn't would that be a bad thing. Next game I am going to get as close to Kubiak as I can and ask him if I can play Running Back for the day. :)
 
For years people have been saying Carr would be great if he had pass protection. Well he has it, what now? Two Pro-Bowl WR's, an NFL quality TE, and good pass blocking.

Let the Carr debate continue....(FTR I could care less either way, give me a game manager (not a superstar) QB and a dominate run game and I'll be happy)
