Game 3 Thread: Redskins @ Texans

I am trying to find a positive about this game. Only thing I have found is a inept defense and garbage time in the fourth.

am i the only one who does not like the word garbage time, especially when the other teams starters are still on the field?

Right here. I am looking at gamecenter and the same people are making tackles. However, some people say garbage time is when the D starts playing prevent. Take it as you see it.

If we keep our defense on the sideline, then the redskins can score quicker and we can get back to practice on offense again.

I'm thinking of picking up Carr in my fantasy league. The Texans are always having to come from behind and Carr lights it up in the 4th quarter.

Carr went from being 10% owned to 50% owned after the Indy game, according to ESPN. He is putting up awesome stats.

I did it today. I signed him and dumped Culpepper and started him over Manning since Indy is playing Jax. We'll see how it turns out.

As for the game, the D is killing me. Ryans and Robinson are the only bright spot. I can live with the offense, it's not great but geez, defense... you're killing me.

Yes, and some say the indication that it's garbage time is that we're not throwing deep, even though that's the only way that last drive worked...albeit with a defensive penalty. There's enough to complain about on this team without making subjective determinations about "garbage time"--which, incidentally, serves no constructive purpose at all.

Hellacious tackle by Dunta.

They just flashed a graphic of the Redskin playmakers and their touches.

Who are our playmakers?

AJ

After that, it is a stretch. Moulds perhaps?

The offense has no gamebreakers. We are constantly having to put together 8-14 play drives to score. No explosion. You can't have explosion when you have two tight ends and a fullback on the field.

I might do the same, I've got Culpepper as well. I thought he would have lit it up today against Tennessee.

Redskins are not a good team.. good teams don't make the stupid penalties that they make.

and yet bad teams to make them pay for their penalties and make them punt.

That last set we were in a 4-3 defense, but with the spread it was a 4-1. No blitz. No pressure. Same BS at halftime! You could run for days out of that defensive set. Putrid.
