Game 3 Thread: Redskins @ Texans

When is Kubes going to have a meltdown on the sidelines and get in the grill of some people? He seems too laid back after seeing some things that are going on.
 
We may be looking at a top 5 pick unless our defense can figure out how to stop anyone. Offense looks just fair but the defense is HORRIBLE.
 
I'm sorry but this team SUCKS bad.

I am really starting to worry about the Mario pick. I wasn't expecting much of him this early but he is a liability right now. I would feel much better if Ryans was our #1 overall pick.
 
as i have been saying, this defense is young and undisciplined. wheres the leadership? at least 2 yrs ago we had sharper, glenn, and walker to provide the leadership.

our defensive coordinator isn't showin me anything, I'm sorry but this is a joke on defense, and it aint all performance issues, we are just calling some bad plays IMHO.
 
to the person who said they hope the redskins don't feel like they accomplished anything... your wrong.. if they go on and win today that a momentum builder.. the last two weeks we didn't have portis.. well hes back.. and you see how the offense looks.. given the texans D does suck.. he brings a threat in the backfield we didn't have the past 2 weeks.... with him in the line up we are a much better team and we will rebound from 0-2.. watch
 
This is getting old. If we would win a few games maybe the networks would actually show the Texans instead they switch to another game... My TV guide showed the Texans on Fox all week then when I checked yesterday and it changed to Chicago at Minnesota. Very annoying!
 
Look for the sacks to pile up now that we are so far behind we will need to toss it and the Skins will just be turning on the jets to get to Carr.
 
There is something fundementally wrong with this D. It should be impossible to look this bad just executing basic D formations.

Our players just aren't very good. ND Kalu is performing 3 times better than Mario on the defensive end spot.

I think a big part of our problem is that we have drafted numbers guys early in the draft instead of football guys. We take guys who do good in the performance tests, teams like New England take guys who overperform but are good football players.

We have a team of good physical performers, not good football players.
 
I don't mind us losing as much as I mind the Texans looking pathetic. Our defense has got to be the worst in the league. The Redskins are running at will and Brunell looks like a top quarterback. Our offense can't do anything either. No blocking, no running and stupid mistakes. I do believe the ownership screwed up on the choices of coaches. Kubiac is a great coordinator but not a head coach. He needs to eat some defensive coordinator behind. What is it going to take until we get someone to take charge of this team and make something happen. We have the personnel but the schemes are terrible. Redskins are wide open on pass plays and the wholes are big enough to drive a truck through. Unless some major changes happen at halftime, this will be a blow out by the end of the 3rd.
 
Just checking in at the half. I feel like I'm watching the Eagles game all over again. The Redskins obviously scouted us because those screens, and draws once again are ripping us apart.

Offensively we are fine, there have been some stupid mistakes with the Center QB exchange, but besides that I'm fine.


Defensively I don't know how we can keep giving up these big plays. This game should be 7 - 7 right now. As bad as we are playing on defense I don't know if we can get back in this game.
 
might as well put sage in .. anything Carr does now is going to be considered "Garbage" stats

Personally, after watching this half, I don't see how we could win any games this year. I'm talking 0-16. How's that for some negative thinking?

Mario is awful....no way to spin it otherwise.
 
Ha...apparently Casserly was on CBS before the Cincy game today, and he said he would have taken Culpepper over Brees too.
 
the texans better tighten the gap, because if the texans are getting "blown out" by 4th qtr, here in corpus christi, fox will start broadcasting one of the other games going on.
 
ok, glass half full outlook: we get the ball to start the second half, we have forced them to go 3 and out on 40% of their possesions?
 
...now 'cmon, you know we're going to come out and win this game in the 2nd half, right? well, maybe not--but I bet Burnell doesn't stay perfect, so there,,,our redemption for the day! Who are we going to beat this year?
 
I can live wit this offense. So who should we look for in next year's draft. We prolly have the choice between Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson. Who is the best defense player in college football right now? we need him asap.
 
Quick observations at half time.

Richard Smith is terrible as a caller of defenses. This is pathetic.

Mario Williams SUCKS, with a captial S-U-C-K-S. There is NO explosion at all in his game, he has no clue where he is half the time, gets easily fooled. To top it off, he is being manhandled by measly TE's half the time. Pathetic. IF he was a stand up guy, he would give Mcnair his money back. Sorry, guys, he is a BUST. Yes, I am calling it after three games. I have been watching football for parts of four decades. I know a bust when I see one.

If there is a worst starting safety in the league then CC Brown, I would sure like to see him. This guy makes Matt Stevens look like Ronnie Lott.

Could Carr actually learn to ever throw a pass correctly, and not side arm it all the time. And, why do we seem to be the only team in the league with so many friggin snap issues?

Guys and gals, we are staring straight at a 2-14 season again. Pathetic. Now you people see why we are the laughingstock of the league. At least with Bush, we might have seen some exciting plays. Mcnair should refund everyone's money, and sell the team to someone who knows what the hell they are doing.
