Game 14 Thread: Texans @ Patriots

He looked like an average rookie against us until that OT run that clearly had several holds on the play that should have brought it back. VY is an artificial messiah for the Traitors.

VY hater in the house....VY had still played a good game up until that point...he was an average rookie today.

Of course he says that. We're still in the current season. You say that you wanna get rid of him and watch how much he hurts the team against Cleveland. I want Carr to think he has every chance to whip the Browns and go out on a positive note. I think the owner does too. That will be an even match-up
What he said is a mind game to keep media snooping at bay. The winds of change are blowing...
:texan:

I know...I was trying my hand at sarcasm. :)

man, Tavaris Jackson comes in plays well, the Cleveland QB plays well, Cutler just threw a 50+ TD, Leinart and Young are NFL starters...

The Cowboys O-LINE was TERRIBLE..until Romo comes in.

Why is it honestly that everyone can throw for 225-250 and throw 2-3 TD's every NOW AND THEN...not every week..just EVERY NOW AND THEN???

How can DC really be this bad?? Seriously, not bashing him..how can he be SO BAD?

1 TD and 7 INTS in his last 7 games???

An attempt to cheer up Texans fans:

VY made a rookie mistake by passing with a little over a minute to play in the game. He should have taken a sack and run down the clock. His pass allowed the Jaguars to get the ball back and possibly tie the game, thereby forcing overtime.

VY was saved by a interception by the Titans defense.

Today was the ugliest loss I've seen in years. Seriously. Can we get WARREN MOON outta retirement? It can't be any worse than today's performance. I mean....I wanted my money back, and I watched it on FREE TV.

LMAO. I heard that. This was just terrible today. I don't know what hurts more. Last season or this one? Yeah, we're 2 games better than last season, but as far as performance this year, and seeing the success the Titans are having. This season hurts IMO.

I missed the 1st and half of the 2nd quarters, didn't know the score and walked into a sports bar to watch the game. I saw the score, 27-0 and sat down and said to myself "WTF am I doing?". Stood up and walked out.

First time I have done that, I mean, I walked out towards the end of the Dallas game but no matter what I have always given them a chance, been a "fan"and stuck it out and suffered. When I saw the score, and now hear how bad it really was...

Geez, I mean, didn't the Pats lose to Miami last week?

The proverbial nail in the coffin game for David Carr. Not that I needed much convincing...We were absolutely destroyed. Another exciting offseason looms ahead..

I think Kubiak should start letting Calhoun start doing some playcalling. IIRC, I believe Kubiak does call all the plays. After today, it is obvious there needs to be some switch ups on our team.

I'M A TEXAN!!

Aw, another cute pic of Vince. You dating him yet? Did you watch his defense bail him out against the Jags? Or are the stars still in your eyes from the Rose Bowl (which doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the NFL, in case you didn't know)...

David Carr is that you????

In all fairness, the Texans caught the Pats at the absolute worst time. The way people were talking last week you'd think NE went into the game at 4-9 instead of 9-4. After the humiliation they suffered at the hands of the Dolphins (21-0 spanking) and the barely-won game the week before against the Lions (that's still hard to say/write), there was no way the Pats were going to give anything away Sunday.

I think there are still some bright spots and a few good core players on the roster for Houston. It doesn't take long for teams to turn things around, and the same goes for the Texans.

Your thoughts are appreciated although any team in the NFL would've beaten us Sunday.
