According to NFL.com

the Houston Texans will be assessed a 15 yard penalty for illegal halftime rest... Stating that a team that is losing 27-0 nothing should not get to rest (since they never started to play)
 
the offense is here to get Demeco on the field as much as possible so he can pad his stats and get D-ROY and go to probowl

This isn't even about the team...McNair adopted Carr and by god he is going to teach the kid to play football...no matter what it takes.

seriously Carr needs "exercise, discipline, and affection" in that order! he shouldnt be getting doggie treats when he is being uncooperative

I hate the display put on, but you guys can't just blame the defense...they've been on the field a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

True, but even early they wern't getting it done either. Not one piece of the team is doing squat. Offense, defense, special teams...nothing.
 
...and we get to see Morency have a nice 14-yd. TD on the halftime show for Green Bay. Is this a lovely day for football or what?
 
I honestly think we should ask the Pats if we can borrow there back up. Maybe he will have enough heart and feel bad for us to let us score one or two TD's
 
I have always been a Carr supporter but his play of late hasnt been acceptable... In the best interest of David Carr, I would ask for a trade in the offseason, or just refuse to go back on the field in the 2nd half...

The protection from the OL is an absolute joke and he has become so shell shocked that when he does have more than 1.5 seconds, he panics because he knows that if he hangs onto the ball for another 1 second that he is going to get pasted into the turf...

The team wont go to the shotgun because the 2nd year centre cant snap a shotgun snap??? is that not 1 of the requirements of being a centre???

This regime is going to need a LOT more time overseeing things before they put a successful unit on the field....Dayne has been decent at RB the last few weeks but he poses no breakaway threat whatsoever...neither to any of the WR's...even the announcers said that DB's just sit on the short routes cause they KNOW that nobody can/will run by them....

I just blame David Carr.....it's the only logical thing to do.
 
Okay, we'll see what happens with this first drive to determine if I'll stick around for the 2nd half (at least on the boards - still will keep it on the radio).
 
Combine a lousy injury depleated O-line with a QB that cant read a blitz has no pocket presence and throws side arm and you get 0-27 1st half.
 
Kubes couldn't have said it better just now, he just said that he felt the defense was doing as good as it could with the offense playing as poorly as they are.

Texans to start their new 5th string team for the second half. The 5th string team is composed of Texans fans that were in the stands for the first half.
