****ADVICE FOR ALL VINCE YOUNG FANS ATTENDING THE GAME TODAY****

1) When Tennessee's offense is on the field. Cheer. Really loud. Yell, scream, stomp, holler. It will show Vince you love him. If he flaps his hands downward, cheer louder. The downward flapping means he is about to fly. He needs your loudness to fly.

*Also the cheer you should use is " The Fence " This represents the fence McNair put between the fans and himself with the choice of Mario over Vince.

2) When the Texans offense has the ball, get really really quiet. The silence will make David Carr sad.

If you do these two things really really well, it will teach Bob McNair a lesson.

Sound advice. lol

Go Texans!

I'm completely disregarding the Texans directive and I'm breaking out my Battle Red t-shirt and hoodie for this (hopefully) special game.

I'll be watching from my home in The Woodlands, but if y'all lean a little North at the end of the game when we win, you'll certainly hear me yelling.

:fans:

I'm just torn. Over the past couple of weeks VY has been quite impressive w/ the come from behind wins. Carr.... *sigh. Some regression and som of the same mistakes that make me wonder if he's going to work out like I had hoped. *sigh

I'll be rooting for the Texans to win today: 24-21, Texans. Defesnse will more than likely save the day.

Got up early, grabbed a beer, and I am ready for the carnige to begin. Look it's a bulldozer, no it's a tank, not it's Dameco Ryans coming to plow your a** into the ground.

Really scared about this game Tacks are better than I though thay would be at the begining of the season.

If Carr playes the game of his life and holds on to the football we win.
Texans 35
Tacks 21

If Carr make the mistakes he has made the last several games the Def. might not be able to overcome them and we get blown out in our on house.
Tacks 42
Texans 9

Just a question. If DC has a fumble in the first quarter does Coach K bench him? Who is are backup QB this week?

I heard DeMeco on the pre-game and immediately thought back to when I was reviewing last week's Raider game. The thing that shot out of the screen was how DeMeco Ryans controlled that game like an All-Pro level player. I'd characterize his impact somewhere in-between Ray Lewis and Derrick Brooks. I'm looking for Fisher to try to go out of his way to block him today.

Which is why we need the TEAM to show up today :spy:

Getting my Honey-Do-List done early today. Can't wait till kickoff time. Can someone please provide me with the Link so I can hear the game play by play. Thanks to everyone that helps out on the MB during the games. Go Texans. Any given Sunday. And play for the Win.

You have to sign up to listen. But if it's like MLB of college football, they black out the game online (you have to sign up for a pay service to listen).

Well, I'm on my way to the game and I'm hoping not only for a victory, but for David to do well.

I supported the team's decision to draft Mario for reasons that have been rehashed ad infinitum. After some shaky games by David, I question whether he is our long term answer at QB.

I'm hoping he does well because he's a good guy with a lot of physical talent. If the team loses today and he plays badly, I think it's curtains for him here in Houston. Then we have to draft a QB and/or sign one in free agency, when I would rather use those resources to fill one of our other numerous holes.

Having said that, if David's not the answer, he's not the answer. The picture will be a lot clearer in 4 1/2 hours. I'm going to say a prayer for David.

Back after the game...

You are just leaving for the game? It's starts in an hour! This is PART of the reason why are stands are always empty at the beginning of games!

Get off the board and get to your seat!

Notice I said part of the reason. . . I think we all know what the other part is.

Man, I wish I could afford tickets. Browns or Jags, wouldn't matter. O well. Go Texans.

I want constant pressure today on Young w/out the use of a spy. I want what would be a spy to be an attacking blitzer every play. Meco and Mario need to raise their game today, and yes, I think Meco has more levels than last week. (scary).

I want to see Mathis on the field early as a WR to take shots downfield against Hill. At worst we back the defense up the rest of the game, at best we score early. Mathis is a weapon that no other team in the league has outside of MAYBE dante hall. We need to use him to the fullest, even if it is only as a decoy.

Since, supposedly, more than half the "fans" are going to be cheering Vince today, do you think he will try to hush the crowd when the Titans are on offense, or conversely try to pump up the crowd when the Titans are on defense? Nothing would make me more angry.

Round up the wagons Houston. To all you guys and gals who are sticking by the Texans, I salute you. It oughta be fun.
