Oh MY GOD.............DEMECO IS GOD!!!!!!!!!

hey everybody guess what DROY lives here, the Texans Probowler plays MLB, one of the best lbs in the league plays here.

Well, against such a great defense, and such a great run game we had today, I've gotta think that Dayne and Leach have both won themselves starting spots, for atleast next week.
 
We had -5 yards passing all day and we still won. This game was ugly but the D came up big. For once we weren't the cure-all team and the D can build off this game.

Demeco Ryans IS the steal of the draft and this team is better because of him.

David Carr will not be our starting QB next year.

Ah, I see it doesn't work both directions. Blamed if we lose and he plays well. Blamed when we win and he plays poorly. Love the fence jumping. Actually, I think both sides are stupid, but I like how the spin goes.

thought the same thing. when his stats are good and we lose..it is Carr's fault

when his stats are bad..and we win. well Carr still stinks LOL

It was a win against a horrible team and we won ugly. I think looking at how the game was played is part of the process. Carr was horrible. I'm just amazed that people keep bending over for the guy. If you want a good team for the futire, it is ok to be critical of what is going on. People are just too OK with letting people slide in this town. This draft was strong and we need to build on it and part of that is a new attitude that doesn't revolve around if people can lead.

I seriouslly think the mlb reference was a typo, prolly meant LB not MLB we do need a new strong side linebacker but the middle is Ryans spot as long as he wants

The problem is that most do not do this. It is all Carrs fault, the defense and the o-line and the running game is his fault no one elses. But that is not realistic and some people cannot be realistic.

the raiders were ranked 2nd in the league agaainst the pass, Winston sucked all day long, I'm not surprised Carr had a bad day he had someone alll over him by the time he put his last step on the ground. I admit he needs to find a way to hold onto the football, but the pressure and poor line play especially by winston is why the yardage wasnt there, IMHO.

my, my, my..... I guess I was wrong. Our defense really stepped up today, and made some plays when it counted.

Offensively, even though I expected us do poorly against their D, I did not expect that..... -5 passing.

look I'm glad we won, but Dayne shouldn't be on this team........if we are ever going to become competitive and a winning program in this league......the last thing we need to do is take other teams cast off busts.

I used to use the same argument.............the guy is a #1 ovrl. pick......a #1 ovrl. pick, the argument that your using can be used for run of the mill QBs, what does that say about our QB.......

Carr isn't getting paid 7 mil a year to be another cog in the system, he's getting paid 7 mil a year to be the force that drives our offense. Does it suck to be a Texans QB.....yes without a doubt, it absolutely sucks, so you look for flashes of greatness. a 1 yard dump down pass and the most fumbling QB is not a flash........its a snuff. Carr like Harrington needs a change of scenery.......I still beleive he can be a good QB, just not here.
