It sadly reminds me of a David Carr and Rex Grossman matchup way back in the day. No disrespect to those two quarterbacks, they both had better careers than Savage and Gabbert. I just couldn't think of anything else off the top of my head. At least involving the Houston Texans. Tony Banks started a game at San Francisco late in the 2005 season when we finished 2-14. I forgot who the QB was for the 49ers in that game.

The sad part is that Carr has a SB ring and Grossman has an NFC Champion ring.
 
I wonder if Cal will realize he's in over his head and sell the team, or if Ricky will talk him into keeping the team so that Ricky will not only still have a job, but more power than ever.

Mostly depends....does Ricky still possess his ambidextrous turbo wrist action...it always seemed to keep Bob pretty content.
 
I think the Texans have a chance to pull out a win tomorrow. Not a great chance, but a chance.
 
One thing is certain. They can't come out any more "dead team walking" than they have in previous games. I think without question we have seen them be as bad as they can be. Worst case scenario is that tomorrow ends up being just more of the same.
