Foxsports.com: Fake your pick - Why the Texans are picking Bush

This guy doesn't seem to know what he's talking about for different parts of the article.

"The debate has never been Bush vs. Mario Williams. It has been Bush vs. Vince Young, because Young is a Houston native and an athletic freak — and, as a quarterback, he can potentially have a greater impact on the game than Bush."

It should never have been Young vs. Bush, because you don't take a huge risk on the first pick. It's unreasonable and people lose jobs over it.

" The simple reason is that Bush is a ridiculous talent — only an injury can keep him from being a Pro Bowler."

Amazingly enough, this is his biggest concern. This guy doesn't seem to acknowledge this part. Also, he claims that Bush will win games, which has been proven many times that one player cannot win a football game.

"I'm not ripping his football ability, because I don't spend much time breaking down film of North Carolina State's defense, and unlike most people who opine about the NFL draft, I don't mind admitting it."

I love this part. I've never seen him play, but I don't think he's as good as Reggie Bush. He loses credibility with that statement. I admire his humility, but seriously, take a look at the player, then make an opinion.

Rosenberg did introduce the article well, and I personally think it would be humorous if things turn out this way.

"How would they announce it? Would they just drop it into their big "Hey everybody, we're doubling ticket prices and cutting the size of beer cups in half!" press conference? Would Charley Casserly hold up a Reggie Bush Texans jersey, then scream "Just kidding!" and then hold up a Vince Young Texans jersey, then scream "Gotcha AGAIN!" and then hold up a Williams jersey? And while he did it, would he be wearing a bulletproof vest?"

Overall, lackluster article, nothing too special to note.

Bush is fine, his family made the mistake, he was wrong in just not speaking up about it. He did not know the arrangement, but he knew they could not afford that house by any means. Also, poor guy still hanging on to the Bush v. Young thing. It was never really about Young. We will treat him like a hero when he comes to town, and believe me after he signs his contract he will have a nice house here.

My favorite quote from the article:

I'm not ripping his football ability, because I don't spend much time breaking down film of North Carolina State's defense, and unlike most people who opine about the NFL draft, I don't mind admitting it.

Substitute player and team/unit for the portions highlighted in red. There's a lesson there somewhere.

I apologize to all you Reggie Bush fans.

I have made a very extreme point to put up the most idiotic out of the field comments on Bush these past 2 days. I did it intentionally so that all of you people get a taste of what you pro-Bush guys have posted about Vince when he had his pro-day. Do you people understand how off the wall you get about this topic? Look back at your previous post two weeks ago and you can see for yourself. You Pro-Bush guys are no better than the Pro-Vince guys and vice versa; I guess we are all Homers! Bush had his pro-day, Vince had his pro-day, and it is over. Some people love Vince and want him to play here, and some people love Bush and want him to play here. After deep evaluation, the Texans in all actuality need neither one of the guys. Arguments that are factual, Carr has not produced, Dom Davis is hurt every year. Bush or Vince comes here it is going to be a plus for our team but we will survive with out them. Another fact; we are paying a very high premium for Dom Davis and David Carr, if we take Bush we are going to pay probably 50 to 60 mill over 5 years with at least 15 mil up front, I have no guess for Vince because his agents have no history but my guess is it will be high. There is a chance that they will both be spot players and back ups, so we are paying huge sums of money for a RB or QB that we are already paying a high premium for! People need to lighten up and enjoy this history. I hope we trade down because we need OL, BAD! VERY BAD. I apologize for being a butt, I had to as a example to hopefully make some people open their eyes to how dumb this Vince Bush crap is.

And so it continues?
