Casserly should go before Capers. Period. He is responsible for the horrid talent we have on defense and the O-line (which actually played pretty well today). Oh wait, I did see Babin got a tackle today so I should probable retract my comments...

Of course, you ignore the drafting of D-Rob, A. Johnson, D. Davis, etc. Every GM makes good moves and bad moves. I personally have no problem with Travis Johnson over Derrick. Travis isn't a bad player at all. He'll be very good with experience under his belt. Just because a guy runs around with a longhorn on his helmet doesn't mean he's a must-draft for Houston.

How ANYONE can defend Casserly is beyond me. He was horrible with the Redskins and his brutal track record has continued over here.
So Casserly has nothing to do with what we are seeing on the field?? Then what the h3ll is he doing as GM?? The GM's job is to put players on the field. If you want to say that Capers is responsible for all the horrible moves this team has then what exactly is Casserly doing, just bringing coffee to McNair and annoying us all with his New Englander accent? Either way, we need a decent GM who can make GOOD moves and bring in some talent. Then let that guy hire a decent head coach.

You're right. I am not a true Texan fan and am ignorant because I want the man who has made all of the personnel decisions leading to a 1-10 start gone. Silly me. Seriously, how can you criticize people who dish out serious bucks to attend these games for expressing their frustration with poor personnel oversight on this team? Are you a season ticket holder? If so, aren't you frustrated that this team is declining in talent?

Casserly is an ***** and shares as much blame for the sorry state of the Texans as the coaches. He's the one who was responsible for assembling the roster, and he failed miserably. But I still have confidence that McNair is smarter than Bobo and will evaluate Casserly fairly and send him packing.

we went from 7-9 to the absolute worst team in the nfl. the gm and the coaches have to go. it is time to clean house and take care of business.

Casserly though has wasted picks on people we dont need and given up way to much for others that are not that good (money for Wade or draft choices for out of position tattoo guy and panzy Buchanon). 5 draft choices are gone, but then again We had Wells, and DD so we draft Morency, and lets take a QB in the third round the year after we got our #1 Franchise guy. Oh yeah, pass up on others to get a TE who is more fragile than crystal and pass up on a local LEGIT OLB in the draft for a change of pace Defensive end/tackle.

I'm not totally on the Fire Capers Bandwagon (I'd still like to see him fulfill his 5-year contract), but Casserly has definitely got to go. While I understand some picks are hit-and-miss, he has just done a terrible job for our defense. Our defense is horrible. And his gambles to bring in Babin and PBuch has not only not-panned-out, they'be been complete busts. They're probably the equivalent of 4th round picks! And he also let Glenn, Sharper, and Foreman go, shoes that Greenwood and Pbuch have not been able to fill to say the least. Casserly has pushed this defense back at least 2 years from being in the top half of the league. We need linebackers, a CB, and a safety. Our defensive situation makes our offense smell like roses.
I do understand picking Travis Johsnon over DJ though. I mean, we weren't expecting our linebackers to suck that hard, and we were very thin on the defensive line. Gary Walker looks like he's down at least once every single game. But at that time, we wanted the best player available. That player was Derrick Johnson. STUPID STUPID STUPID!
