The year's salary guarantee on opening week is only for vested players (4+ completed years in league). The guys on rookie deals can be cut and not paid for the remaining games.

Tyler Johnson. Another guy that Brady has no patience for. I know he's The Goat. But I wouldn't let the guy, or any player, make personnel decisions.

Howard seems to fall by the wayside of another overhyped player from Bama. Irv Smith in Minny looks average at best and Leatherwood caught the fade too from Oakland.

I still think Leatherwood can be a very good OG.

On the offensive side the players seem to be very overhyped. I know posters dont want to hear this but BOB/Sark have done an excellent job with them. The players that seem to live up to their billing are the WR/RB's.

Wrs yes, rbs have been ok, nothing special except Henry. I would still try to bring Howard in. Its not like any of the other guys are setting the world on fire. I'm all for 26 yr old reclamation projects on a rebuild.

Najee Harris looks pretty special.

The Lisfranc injury will probably slow him down alot this yr.

Henry has been all pro twice and was about to be a 3rd time. Ingram nowhere close. You can have it, I like Ingram, but he's wasn't special to me. He was a good back, not special. Arian was special. Henry is special, not Ingram. Nothing wrong with being good.

Depends on depth of position on a particular team. Generally I agree with your premise. However I like Bandy and the young TE that got cut by the Vikings a lot.

both could be interesting additions if the Texans went that route...especially with Tarantino going to IR...or we could trade for the TE from Miami??
 
Texans won’t pick up nobody now that doesn’t fit their player profile…interior big OLmen with a low center of gravity, RB’s and TE’s that can block, secondary ball hawks, everywhere speed and aggression Etc. Lovie and NC have talked endlessly about it and I believe we are now seeing the pattern At each position.

Treadwell can't get off press or get open. He was very productive is college, but doesn't have physical traits for next level. He has been a bust and got beat out by Diggs, thielan and whomever else plays wr.

Ya, good points. I didn't like him coming out so not sure why I mentioned him lol. Plus they already claimed the kid from TB.

I would like to give Wydermeyer a look. Man we need at least one decent TE. Might as well take some chances. Surely we’re going to bring in another RB?
 
I'm glad they brought in Johnson. Its what I said last year of bringing some young guys facing roster challenges on good teams. No way this should've been the 2nd oldest team in the nfl last year regardless of not having a 1st or 2nd rd pick. Claiming young guys off cut day, undrafted guys,etc. Good move whether he works or not. We know what Conley and Amendola types are.
