Fake story: JJ Watt arrested for cocaine & steroid possession

Houston Texans Defensive End JJ Watt will be suspended by the NFL on Monday after violating the league’s drug policy.

Watt was arrested Sunday night on possession of stolen items and an amount of cocaine suitable for personal use. Police were called to a Total Nutrition in downtown Houston, TX at approximately 6 PM EST. Along with supplements Watt had stashed in a bag police also found an “ounce of cocaine and a container of anabolic steroids,” according to reports.

The police did release Watt after his arrest as he did not appear to be a threat to the public. A court date is set for coming weeks.

How could our superhero Houston Texan JJ Watt ever get involved in drugs?

Oh that”s right…HE WOULDN’T EVER DO THAT! Stupid internet rumors and LIES!

Unfortunately JJ was the victim of some bogus drug usage story that ran on the Daily Leak, and it’s completely FALSE.

How do these rag "news sites" get away with this stuff??

They are trying to achieve the same impact you were with your carefully worded thread title.

But heck, at least I noted that it was fake.
Those doofus' (or is it doofusi?) played it out like it was legit.

I'm just wondering if JJ can sue them for slander?

One thing I wish the satire websites would do was put a big ass disclaimer on their page thatsays "satire"

Even when sharing on social networks. I seen some **** spread fast on social media because people see the headlines and share that **** fast.

I got burned a couple of times not realizing it was satire. (Some writings o coukd tell, it was too far fetched) but I learned my lesson. I wish some of my friends would.
:thud:
(DEFINITELY this statement not directed at you LYB just in general)

It is good to have a healthy dose of skepticism about everything on the internet not from an established reputable site.
