Espn Sucks.

It is nice for them to say we are the 16 best Passing team in the league.

And our rushing was better then the other 3 AFC South teams.

do the giants really have a true #1 reciever? Come on, Plax Is nothing, he is just a very tall person.

I like Plax, but his head gets in the way too much. Why is it that WR's (on the average) have the biggest mouths and egos of any football position?

T.O., Moss, Me-Shawn, Charles Johnson, Joe Horn, and others come to mind in a hurry.

Well, because I can wait for the opening of camp, I took the rankngs as provided by the analysts on ESPN for all the offenseive categories and then averaged them out for all teams. I think used that average index to extrapolate out the number of wins that it translates into.

Now I know this is only for offense, but I am going to update again when the defensive rankings come out. It shows how the Texans are getting credit from an offensive standpoint to turn in about 5-6 wins this year. Check out how the other teams matchup and you'll see that it may not be too far off. Adding the defense will even out certain anomalies like the Bears.

Well he havent exactly proven ourselves but i think we the season is done we will be top 12 because AJ will have another season like what he had two years ago and Moulds should get a bout 5 or 6 TDs and i think Kevin Walters will suprise lots of people he reminds me of a Joe Jureivous.

I don't like ESPN either, but that's just me. I never have and never will. But that doesn't mean I won't watch it. If we weren't a 2 win team last year we would be a ton higher than this.

'eh, I wouldn't put a lot of stock into these rankings. They're nothing but opinions, and we know what the old saying tells us about opinions.

The only way to respect is winning. These opinion rankings are a reflection of our team's short history.

But don't sweat it. Football season is around the corner, and then we'll know what's really up.

Can't something be done about the spacing in charts and graphs on this site? It would really help with stuff like this. I know it must be difficult or it would've been done already, but it seems like something? could be done.

I dont like it because ESPN is too affraid to give a bad team anything decent. Yes, most bad teams have bad areas, but it seems too much like ESPN is giving teams credit for what they did LAST year and to affraid to form any opinions for the upcoming season. Not to mention I hated how they are still saying stuff like "I really like Domanick Davis and Houston must too; after all they passed on Reggie Bush . . . " LET IT GO ESPN!!!

The Saints are suddenly the best team in the NFL according to ESPN, top 10 rushing game, top 10 receiving core, etc. They seem to forget that the Saints went 3-13 last year and, while they brought in Brees and Bush, they also lost some other key players in Bentley and Howard.

Well, since Reggie Bush is God, and there's no way anyone can stop him, the Saints are going to from pretender to contender this year-ESPN

If you want to be a bust in the NFL....play for the Saints. They have the best record in football.

Dont forget the fact that theyve wasted at least 10 first day picks the past few years and still cant get their D Line right . . .

When ESPN did the Defense rankings, all they said is Mario better pan out to prove he is worth the #1 pick, I still don't think it was the right pick to pass on Bush(paraphrasing).

Ooooh! Freakin' News Flash, anymore un-original ideas going to spill out of your mouth! This crap is getting old.

That's it! Nothing about Demeco Ryans, a great grab in the second round. And nothing about D-Rob at all! I can understand not getting into specifics (Babin & Peek to DE, Weaver, etc.) based on time and the fact we are the Texans. But come on, at least touch on the high points.

Most of the time it is a popularity contest, and they just sensationalize everything.
