im getting sick and tired of people saying that reggie bush is the best player in the draft. look, that is an oxymoronic statement. bush is the best offensive player in the draft, but to say that he is better than someone who plays defense (mario williams for example) is stupid. it can be just as easily said that mario williams is the "reggie bush" of the defensive draft....and its probably true. like bush, williams is versitile, has the character, and the physical traits to be one of the bery best in the league at his respected position / side of the football. just stop calling bush the best overall player in the draft. he doesnt play defense obviously. casserly and mcnair made a fair decision to take the "reggie bush" of the defensive draft

Reggie was the best player in the Draft.
 
I think it's very fair to say Reggie was the best player in the draft. Irregardless of position there has to be a "best" prospect coming out of college. Almost all the NFL guys had Reggie as the best.
 
People arent seeing the big picture. He was cold in college where he played against college players. Now he has to face the Longhorn squad times 5. He wont be as succesful as people think. He will be great. But not gale sayers great. Mario williams was just as good a pick and I beleive we need a more explosive D. Just like Indy let go of E.J for D.F

I wouldn't even say Bush was the top offensive player in the draft. He is the top player in the draft ... for teams that need a RB. For teams that need a QB, then it would be Young or Leinart or Cutler.
 
To say Mr. Bush is not the best player in the draft is crazy! He(I hate to say someone from USC is) is the best player in the draft and would make a great impact on our team. Could you imagine....Moulds on one side, Johnson on the other...DD and Reggie in the back field......WHO DO YOU COVER??? The team really took a step back on this one. Don't get me wrong because Williams is a good ball player but did play in a weak ACC!

Williams won't be playing the Terps either. We shall see who makes the best transition.
