Easiest Schedule The Rest of The Way

Ranger

Waterboy
@ Baltimore
@Tennesse
Arizona
Jacksonville
@San Fransico

I think that is the easiest schedule in the league for the last five games. I really can see us winning 3 of the last 5 with the offense playing better and now big offensive powerhouse for our defense to handle. I say we finish 4-12. Call me crazy, but I think after Sunday, the players really have something to prove.

I like it. I know people want to play for a no. 1 pick, but I'd take a 4-12 any day over 1-15.

Just the look of "1-15" is never a good thing to have in a team's history. :dontknowa

Anyway, I'm not in a prediction kinda' mood, so I have no idea how the team will look on Sunday.

But I'll watch, and root, and hope they kick some rear anyway! :texflag:

We will finish 4-12 screwing us from the leverage of having the first pick. The Texans absolutely can't do anything right. Expect D'Brick to be picked #3 by the Texans..NO Bush, NO Leinart, NO additional draft picks.

Dont get your hopes up sorry to burst your Bubble these remaining teams aint no cleveland brown guys i say we maintain our composure and loose all five:texflag:

yeah, i agree with napa. we just suck. and as for the team's history and hindering it with a 1-15 season, I don't think we have all that prestigous of a history to ruin in the first place. i'd rather lose out and get bush. that kid is gonna be something special. speaking of which, considering we don't have much more to look forward to for the rest of the season, how bout we start talking it up about the draft class. i know it's a little early, but it beats the hell outta all this complaining about how we blow games all the time.

Dom ... Please Bench David Carr and play Jabar Gaffeny at the QB position for the duration of the season !:tomato:

The Texans had better trade down, because they are going to have a tough time keeping the players they have and a tougher time attracting solid players in FA. The Texans will need all the picks they can get this year.

Nothing to fear this week for those worried we'll lose the chance at Reggie Bush. Baltimore is going to beat the stuffing out of us.

Then they're going to beat the stuffing and see what falls out of it. Jammal Lewis is going to run wild on us this week. We can't stop the run and he just remembered how to run. That's a recipe for disaster.

Out of the remaining games I see that Tennessee already beat us silly once. I expect them to have to problem doing it again. Then we get Arizona which I have no clue about followed by Jacksonville (another beating I expect) and finally San Francisco.

I think at best (or at worst depending on how you look at it) we probably have two more wins in there. Maybe. Regardless this is going to be the Texans worst season to date.

Don't know. The Texans are the cliched Forrest Gump box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

The first part of the Rams game looked like the potential team. The second part of the Rams game looked like how most of the season had been going.

Nothing they would do for the rest of the season would surprise me. They could win all these games, they could lose all these games, I have no idear.

Probably the only thing that would really surprise me is a absolute blow out, not even close win. We just don't get those. (I don't count the 2002 24-6 win over the Steelers--that is the most embarrassing odd win of all time though it was fun hearing Steeler fan gripe afterward). We are way overdue for a crushing win, and I hope I get to see one of those in person.

Winning and losing does not matter to me when we are 1-10. What matters is that we compete and see unit and individual improvement. If apathy rears its ugly head on the field during this stretch of winnable games, then we have serious problems.

Carolina went 1-15 and then went to the Super Bowl 2 years later.

I think im more concerned with a turn around and the coaching staff sticking around after this dismal season than Losing out on Bush.

But as much as we flame the coaches here . I think Casserly is just as responsible for this teams failure . Its Casserly's job to put a winning product on the field and Capers' job to put them in a winning situation . Casserly Failed Miserably .
On the Defensive side he cut the two "Leaders" in Sharper and Glenn . Sure Glenn had a nice cap hit and Sharper was irritated with the coaching staff and shown the door for speaking out against them . But they were the leaders of the D .
They were replaced with un-proven players or in the case of Glenn a busted first rounder who couldnt tackle a pop warner RB . The loss of those two players had a much larger impact than most would have thought at the time .

On Offense Capers and Casserly point blank told David Carr that his pass protection would be fixxed .... Well , that was a point blank LIE . They fixxed Nothing .
The world knew they needed to upgrade their second reciever position yet they brought back Corey Bradford and his hands of stone ...Then again we could blame Capers for not allowing Mathis to see more time at WR .

Simply put Casserly and Capers both failed thier charges this season and should be held accountable ..... NO mini winning streak PLEASE , Anything that would allow this staff to stick around for next season is BAD !

Gaffeny for QB !
