Early Draft Predictions 2021

1. Texans draft 2 young CBs

2. Texans trade to have two 3rd round picks (whether it be to package picks to move up or to trade a player I haven’t decided yet)

3. Five QBs go in the 1st Rd, and only 5 QBs go in the remaining 6 rounds.

4. This will be a record breaking year for total number of offensive lineman drafted.

5. Texans finally draft a young RB to take control of the backfield.

2.Agreed about CB and I think they add 1 in FA. They let all of their CB's go except Roby and Crossen who is only kept around as a ST's guy.

3. Who is the 6th QB, Trask?

5. They probably will sign a FA RB and draft a RB. What rd do you think they draft a RB in.

I definitely think that Edge will be one of the first 3 picks (if we have 2 3rds and on of the 4ths)

What round do you think we’ll draft the CBs?

I think Trask or Mills will be the 6th QB off of the board.

I think we draft the RB in the 5-6th round.

I would like Caserio to trade back into the 3rd using the Cards 4th and a 5th my picks would go something like this.

Rd.3 DE Ellerson or Jordan Smith
Rd.3 CB Kelvin Joseph
Rd.4 CB Tay Gowan

I can't agree with that, either. There were 7 OL taken in the 2020 1st round. 12 became full time starters, and another dozen were starting by the end of the season. That's a pretty high bar for a rookie class to top.

I hope they do trade back.
Then take Ronnie Perkins Edge and Shakur Brown CB with those top two picks.
Take Michael Carter RB with the 4th - think Carter is going to be pretty good.

2) Texans trade back at #67. Probably the Raiders for a mid 3rd and mid 4th. Gruden is too hyper to wait for his pick.
3) The Texans draft a QB. I'll guess Feleipe Franks with #203

Who here thinks that 49ers used 2 1sts and a 2nd to move up to draft Mac Jones, Justin Fields or Trey Lance?

I hope the don’t draft Franks. He didn’t impress me at all.

I’d rather use the pick on a developmental CB like Darren Hall.
 
Do y’all think the Bengals will go with Chase or Senell at 5?

I think they’ll go with Chase, but they should go with Sewell.
