Remember when they said Dream was faking the hamstring injury? He called the owner and gm liars and cowards 😆 . They almost traded him for Rony Seikly and Glen Rice. Good players, nowhere close to Dream. I brought it up because they don't have to trade Watson under any circumstances.

Culley/Caserio: Get on the plane.

Cal: We got you the biggest box of large crayons and a My Little Pony coloring book.

Hmm, I dont know.... Cal is probably a furry...he would probably color the ponies to look like Toro..... in which case when Easterby finds him doing to that coloring book, literally, what he has been figuratively doing to the team.....

Easterby would call it sinful, demand Cal never do such things..... leading to Cal firing him immediately.

Might not work out as originally planned, but could still work.

Not lately, but fear not... my wife tells me every day.

Even the cat looks at me on occasion like something aint quite firing right up there..... but as long as Im not a danger to myself or others....... I wont be forced to hug myself in a padded room... good thing too... Im not a hugger.

Caserio doesn’t have the authority to trade Watson. That has to come from the owner. Janice McNair. She has yet to interject herself into the situation. At some point, she will.

At this point if they do decide to trade DW4 it is going to be very painful getting to the magical $21.6 MM under the cap in order to trade DW4.

If I am correct the current cap space of $5 million accounts for his base salary of $10.54. If traded the prorated remaining bonus of $21.6 m hits but also if traded, that base goes to new team and is subtracted [easy way to example]: 21.6 - 10.54= $11.06- $5 (current space)= new increase of $6.06. This is allowable (as I understand) until the NFL date where all teams must meet cap. In summary, we have to find 6.06 by that date and that is not insurmountable.

Essentially, a Cooks trade away if a Watson trade is struck. Cooks would be more desireable based on his new money. Before I put the cart ahead.....can Cooks be traded so soon after agreeing to re-structure his contract?

Main reason why I thought it was dumb to restructure Cooks so early when they really didn't have to. If they traded Cooks that would be a $4MM bonehead move.

Not playing trade machine. Grading NC GM skills or lack thereof. So far it is everything you would expect from a Cal McNair hire.
