i agree. he was one of the best CBs in the league over the final few weeks stats wise, he promised me that he would go next year though....and i got his autograph after the game!!! :jumpbanan
 
Vilma will get it. He plays for a NY team so the press folks are all over him for DROY. DRob has better stats. It's a shame. If he weren't a Rook he would be going.

Well, maybe. CB is such a messed up position with the rule changes. There really aren't any true "shutdown" corners in this league anymoere. Even Champ Bailey looks painfully average this season. With these new changes, having a good pass-rushing D is more important than ever, and I don't think Capers was prepared for how much this would change the look of our defense. He must have thought "Our Pass rush isn't too good, but that OK because we can cover". But with these new rules, no one can cover, and that might have been why we've gotten burned on 3rd and long all season. With these new rules, Pass Rush comes 1st, coverage comes 2nd.

Well other than early this season I think Dunta has been as close to a shutdown corner as ive seen.
 
And the scary thing for other teams is that Dunta will only get better with another offseason under his belt :shocked and with a little more added muscle he wont get manhandled by the bigger recievers. he will continue to get much better with time. We gotta remember, hes a rookie.
 
but you also got to remember he goes against andre johnson during practice all the time. and last time i checked....hes a pro bowl receiver!!! but yes, if there is such thing as a shutdown corner anymore - thats what he will be next season. i think they will trust him alone more often and that will allow us be able to bring different blitzes and use different coverages so we can put opossing offenses in bad positions.
