TB would've had to pay 13M this season and only had 2M in cap space. The sticking point, like Brown, was none of the 13M was guaranteed and he had 2 years left after this non-guaranteed season. He's only 31 years old and plenty productive. How old was Vince Wilfork when he was signed and how much did the Texans pay him? McCoy has some tread left on his tires and could be a solid addition since most on this site aren't good with the pursuit of Suh.
The Texans aren't going to spend the $$$$ to bring in a productive vet like McCoy.

Granted, it would need a lot of things to go right for Texans to win the SB, but a good vet like McCoy can certainly help our Dline become ultra competitive.
