Drunken Browns fan tackles 8 year old Jets fan

Karma has a way of taking care of punks like this guy.

I hope somebody in the Jets organization does something special for this kid and at the very least the Browns do something for this kid also.

We Browns fans have a well deserved reputation for being more than a little thrown off, but this is WAY over the line.

I am more shocked that nobody else stepped in and beat that guys ass for doing it to a kid... WTH is wrong with people !!

Perhaps it was just a drunk Browns fan that fell into the kid...:kitten:

I was at a UH-LSU baseball game years ago at Cougar Field and some drunk LSU fans started cussing at a little girl wearing a Cougar cheerleader outfit. The Dad reported them to police and the LSU fans were escorted from the stadium by police.

Something similar should have happened in this situation.

What a disgrace ... I can see if he were a Titans fan but besides Titans fans, kids should be off limits.

yeah, I agree. I would be in someone's grill if I saw this at a Texans game.

I'm not a violent person, but I'd beat someone within an inch of his life if they tackled my son. I ain't kiddin', I would open a can of whoop ass that would introduce a new flavor of rage. This story is just sad and pathetic.

I have a whole new respect for Aggies after attending the SFA game at College Station to see my oldest son play. We were wearing SFA colors, and we received nothing but respect and niceness by EVERYONE one we met, before, during, and after the game. I expected, at minimum, at least a little bit of trash talk. But nobody gave us any grief and everyone was very cool and polite. I was actually a little shocked, as I've been to other college games at Houston, Austin, and Dallas, and there was always a little jibber-jabber going on. Nothing of the sort in College Station, neither toward me and my son nor anyone else within the listening area. Major props to Aggies, and much respect from me. :)

That's because Aggies are soft. See Kubiak.

"As [my husband] was walking, holding my son's hand, a guy from behind tackled him. A drunken Browns fan tackled him and pulled him out of his dad's hand. He was on the ground crying," Danielle said, according to the station.

I would love for this to happen to me.

But only if it was this Browns fan.

Man, don't tempt me to neg rep you buddy! :)

Nothing soft about me, and none of my former students. Kubiak's issues are his own and have zero to do with his Alma Mater :)

Kubiak is also from Houston.

You think Von Miller is soft?

If being a 'tough guy' is some doofus tackling an 8 year old...

Just a joke so I can make fun of Kubiak guys. I don't believe ALL Aggies are soft now... ;)

Just heard on ESPN radio that Colin Cowheard put up a reward of season tickets to whomever turns this clown in.

Good

I hope they catch this guy and he gets his just rewards--a serious asswhoopin'.

Oh, I know you're just playin' around. Kubiak brings down the grading curve for all Aggies now, and on the Charmin scale, he's at Squeeze Level 10 (the highest level of soft). :winky:

This!

And much props to the Aggies for such hospitality, thanks for sharing that story.

right there with you and i don't even have a son. It's just upbringing I suppose. Attacking children (or women) is about a lock for a fight with me. Hell, I don't even like to watch foxy boxing because I don't like seeing women get hit. Someone tackled your son I'd be there holding his arms back so you could unleash the beast!!

I'm glad you had a good experience, but that was probably because

A) You posed little threat to them and
B) You're not from UT.

Having gone to the last few UT/A&M games up in college station, I can assure you that you'd be AMAZED at what you'd hear. Sometimes it's pretty amusing how much aggies hate us, especially considering UT's biggest rival at this point is OU, not A&M.

back on topic, yeah. A grown person tackling a kid is pretty uncalled for. Kid doesn't understand the significance of what happened. Pretty surprised nobody dealt with the guy then and there.

Yeah, I realize it's because I was from a nobody school to them and with a young child. And I even told my uncle that I have no doubt that it's a different atmosphere if you showed up in burnt orange. I'd love to check it out, though, but I'd probably just wear black. ;)
