I like Grant with some limitations. He has all the makings of a good LT...........extremely athletic.............smart as hell from what I gather............great quick foot work...........arm length (34 ¾), the longest of the top 10 tackles. But his strength is relatively poor.............Just 19 reps on the bench press. This goes along with my main concern with Grant.................his weight. He supposedly put on 60 lbs since he got to William and Mary at 240 lbs.............but he has had problems keeping weight on. At the Combine, he weighed 311, but his playing weight has been consistently around 300. Another thing to consider is that he comes from a small college.I think Charles Grant in the 3rd makes the most sense if we’re drafting a tackle. Between Robinson, Fisher, and Howard a starting tackle probably isn’t on the cards so it makes the most sense to go for the highest upside one that needs development.
If we’re going G I prefer the players who have played G over those that you have to make a projection about them switching from T to G.
For the first time in 30+ years of watching Houston pro football, I'm going to break a habit. Instead of hating every pick, I'm going to like every pick.

Outside of OL, I want a badass TE.. it opens up so much on offense and gives your QB a safety blanket, a player we haven't had since O.D.If they get through tonight with Higgins, two o-line, and an RB, I will be happy. TE maybe
how was that make shift OL in 2023 able to give Cj time to work, but last year's starters struggled? As long as they keep getting weapons and protection for CJ, I think I will to.
It is going to be some week old road kill that Nick has scraped off the road. But don’t worry, Nick will spin it up where the Kool-Aid Brigade will think they are eating some Kobe Chateaubriand with some Opus One. You are going to love it. You are going to think it is the best pick in the 2nd RD.Nice appetizer Nick. What is the soup du jour as my 2nd course?
Nick Nash?Love the Higgins pick.
Would also like to land the San Jose State guy (former QB, forget his name) in the 6th if he’s still around.
That's the hope.As long as the athleticism is there….the Texans should be able to address the strength and weight while spending a developmental season on the depth chart.
Anyone have the link to his endorsement?Areonte Ersery is the pick. A rare @CloakNNNdagger endorsed player. Big strong athletic OL with extensive LT experience..
That’s the oneNick Nash?
58 and 99I love Ersery's size. Now what did we give up to move up to get him?
