Draft Tracker 2025

Great pick, and Holy Smokes he was from my mock draft. Maybe the curse is broken.

Now it's gotta be Oline. If last year taught us anything, it's that outside weapons don't do you any good if your QB is looking at the sky.
It's gotta be ikr bring on the new OL no matter what tonight. Do it to it!!!

All the really good leftover olineman from yesterday will now be gone by the time we pick next. Not what I wanted to see. I hope this WR works out for us.
Funny thing about linemen is a lot of high ones bust and a lot of late ones flourish. I was looking around the league at guards and centres I like and it’s a lot of 5th and 6th rounders.

Development appears to be key. So my worry is if this coaching staff is actually up to the task.

Depends on the system as well. Transitioning to more LA style quick passing helps an o-line instead of taking the amount of 7 step drops we were trying to do.

Love the Higgins pick.

Would also like to land the San Jose State guy (former QB, forget his name) in the 6th if he’s still around.

Well it's really puzzling to me because one of the OT Joshs went to Washington and the other to the Chiefs (those are two pretty good teams), and Oline is thought to be our biggest need and yet we pass on the both of them.
One lacks core strength to be a good NFL LT and the other has a patella tendon injury that has ruined a lot of careers. We got two extra third round picks and now one of the top 4 or 5 WRs in this draft.

How did last year teach is that? There were only a handful of games with all three weapons together.

Bears rolling the dice on Burden. If it works Bears will be the Lions of 2023. It could also blow up.

Mason Taylor and Arroyo still on the board. If one is still there at 58, I’m interested. I would not trade up for one though.

I would consider trading up for Ratledge.
They’re really rolling the dice when it comes to OL, maybe it’s just not meant to be? There are some good developmental linemen later but thought they needed immediate help (reason they passed on Conerly)?

Some might disagree because they want o-line (I think we should go volume at that position) but I wouldn’t mind taking one of the RBs with the next pick like a Kaleb Johnson or Cam Skattebo if they’re still available.
I think Double J up in Big D will take Skattebo

I dunno is Higgens that good of an NFL prospect, as you seem very confidant and I hope you are right.

I have heard TeSlaa is like a poor man's Puka Nakua, so he's a possible day 3 pick

Who did you think it was? If they wanted a player at 25 and he's still not drafted

For me, it was LG- Donovan Jackson…but he had to fall to them at 25. Caserio wasn’t giving up capital to get him. It would’ve cost the team a fortune b/c everyone knew their OL needs.

Once Jackson was off the board they knew Higgins would be there for the taking in RD2.

I believe Nick had everyone chasing the BPA approach, but in reality….he was going after BPA at a need position.
