Does the preseason matter?

You are right, but it's also about looking at your first team starters when they played...Let's see, the offense was stopped four times at the 1. Your starting oline...how many times was Carr hurried, knocked down, or sacked just against Dallas? Your starting receivers who were dropping balls left and right...today they didn't just drop them, they flat out didn't turn around and look at the ball, to bad elbows can't catch. It's also about looking at your starting defense which ranked 30th in the preseason.....All of which looked the same today.
 
I still believe, and even more so today, that the preseason does matter. Maybe it doesn't for other teams like the Colts, but for the Houston Texans, it means everything.

The writing was on the wall from the very beginning.
