I mean ESPN single-handedly thru its hype
of Bush's game against Fresno State propelled him into the lead against VY
in the 2005 Heisman competiton. He is so their guy (primarily for commercial
reasons), that they are incensed with anyone who doesn't feel the same.
 
The fresno state game was really not all that impressive in my eyes. Yeah, 513 total yards in a game is alot. But lets remember something: It was shootout and he was returning every kickoff, punt, and was a big part of their offense.

When your team has to score almost every time you touch the ball to stay in it, both offenses are stacked and both defenses aren't worthy of Texas HS 5A.. its just a stat.

Fresno state put up something like 45 points? Thats like 8 kickoffs + halftime or beginning, avg 30yd/ko - thats 240 yards right there. Its not like he got 500 yards rushing+receiving.
