does Derrick Johnson play MLB as well as OLB?

I don't think that would be his strong point. DJ is strength is chase down people .. one of his weaknesses (from what I hear) is teams running AT him. To me a MLB better be good at people running at him

i trend to agree with you on this one. most of his big plays always seem to happen when he is in pursuit. that is what UM did to him in the rose bowl, just my opinion.

Sorry, but i must disagree. If you will watch the prospect video for DJ you will see in there a couple of times where the guard pulls and DJ sheds the blocker and makes the play for a loss. Go watch it.

DJ would could play at any LBspot in the 4-3 but would have to play inside in the 3-4 because he isnt big enough to play on that outside and blitz every play.

And I dont think that most teams consisdered running right at him in college,he fills holes so fast, and in a 3-4 he would be able to use his speed to his advantage flying all over te field and making plays in the pass and run.
