Did you people really chant for Tony Banks?

Thanks Geek for saying that. Lots of Boneheads here with over inflated expectations that are some how expecting a third year team to dominate and never lay an egg. There are folks here that never see the glass as even aproaching the half full mark. These are the same type of folks that would moan when you mailed them a check for million dollars that they had to go to the mail box to pick it up. They perpetually walk in the shade and until the team beats all comers 100 to zip and leads everyone in every catagory and all of the writers everywhere praise only their team, they will constantly Bioch about the team, player, coaches and eventually the owner because it doesn't match up with their over inflated expectations of what should be done. Natuarally all of the NFL is waiting with baited breath for the next pearl of wisdom they manage to throw up so that all can bow down before their magnifisence.

I was at the game and I was furious when this happened. To chant "Tony, Tony" is just plain *****ic, and then to boo Carr when he came back out onto the field really got me going. On the next play, Carr took off for a long run and for some reason I didn't hear any more "Tony..." B.S. after that. If anything, they should have been chanting for the back-up center and back-up right guard. Oh wait, we were already on our 3rd or 4th right guard for the year.

The writer was wrong. I was there and had no indication that anyone was booing Carr throughout the game, UNTIL the injury. The boos there seemed for the poor play of the line. After the first down with Tony at QB Carr came in with a round of boos.

I thought our fans were better than that.

Carr has given his all every game he has played. His stats are better this year than last and he was 5th in the AFC in passing.
