HOke ran a 4-3 at Florida. Also Diddy I get what you are saying that is why I said Cass's has stated it. Check with your source and he will tell you that Cass has been talking about the switch to a 4-3 since before he left for SA. I am not saying you are wrong, because "certain" people within the organization are saying we will run alot of 3-4, but Cass is saying otherwise. I will defer to you on it because I cannot give anything other than that.

I am not saying that the Texans are for sure going to run the 3-4, I am just hearing that this is the preference of some in the organization - including Kubiak. Reportedly, he wants someone familiar with both schemes go give him further imput regarding the talent evaluation of our current players and which scheme would best fit these players. He, nor others, are dead set on either the 3-4 or 4-3. However, Charlie is very eager to switch to the 4-3 for two reasons: (1) to prove it was Dom and Fangio's fault the defense declined over the last few years; and (2) b/c of player sentiments. It is still totally up in the air, just telling you what is coming out at this point.

I would think it would be the opposite. He could more easily prove that Dom and/or Fangio failed if they kept the 3-4 defense...
