Demeco Gets some Love!!

from that article:
-- For owners chomping at the bit to oppose Damon Huard (QB, KC) this week, don’t be. Huard might be among the league’s least-proven starting quarterbacks, but he is efficient. Last year, he was intercepted just once in 10 games, so don’t rush to get Dunta Robinson (CB, HOU) and C.C. Brown (S, HOU) in your Week 1 lineup.
hmm... i hope we're not picked apart by huard

It is actually nice reading his name with some of the leagues better defensive players..If he can raise his sack total to 5+, that would be great..

I am perfectly ready for us to give up at least one big long ball sunday, probably 2, but it all depends on what WE do that decides how badly it impacts the game. From the preseason games I look for this to be a moderately high scoring game (the over for the game is 38), so 1 bad TD shouldn't kill us. Historically quick scores just raise the total, its actually the long clock killing drives that hurt you. Turnovers though will probably decide the game.

Don't they (turnovers) almost always tend to effect the game?

Almost as much as the final score effects who wins and loses. I always thought point scored and points given up was the most important stat in sports.

per that link, the texans scored the most points in the whole NFL during the preseason.

per that link, the texans had the 16th ranked defense as far as points given up.

i'll take that.

Just because he does not throw the INT does not mean he is capable of lighting it up, espically with the Chiefs recieving corps.

he looked good last year when he was in for the Chiefs... I think the Texans secondary need to be ready and the front line really needs to get some pressure on him.

Your links were sorta by division; i.e. looking only at AFC. They did score the most in the NFL this preseason however Defense was 26 out of 32 in the NFL, link, 16 out of 16 in the AFC. (Most points given up per game on average - not a good stat)
