Didn't Terrell Davis, Orlandis Gary, and Clinton Portis Carry the load when they played in Denver??

Yeah, I think so. There have been a few years of RB by committee (like last year) but I think their best years, they've had 1 back get over half the carries and then 1-2 other backs get a good chunk but not to the point of RB by committee.

Basically, the use of the Denver running backs is based on whose legs are working the best.

Most of the named backs, ended up coming into games because the established guys in front of them went down to injury.

You look at the stats, and the backups might get some carries here or there, but the main man gets the majority of the carries unless he gets hurt, or shows that he isn't doing what they want.
