D'Angelo Williams

pittbull

Rookie
I have to admit, the way the guy caries himself is growing on me. It doesn'tmake up for Bush not being taken, but I like the character of him. Sounds like a God-fearing man, good set of family and friends around him, and says he's going to walk the walk!

Haha, he better be!!!

i've always really liked mario, but i will say that reggie would have been real nice, but maybe it will be a better fit for the texans.

LETS WAIT AND SEE

Passing on both RB and VY for this guy is a bonehead move. I guess it should have been expected considering the drafts we have had in the past. It is going to be a sad situation if this guy doesn't play like they expect him to. RB and VY supporters are going to be really ticked off. I dont see him doing much any time soon. He faced a lot of players in college that will probably not even make it into the NFL and he was inconsistent at best. Had most of his sacks in 3 i repeat 3 games last yr. Talent level in the NFL will be much better. Will be interesting to see how he will respond to double teams, if they are needed that is. Hope we dont regret this pick 5 yrs down the road. I feel nauseated all of a sudden....

Oh man I want this kid. Highly productive, can catch outta the backfield, great character.

If we moved up and got him I wouldn't mind it it all. I have been thinking this all day.

He is only going to last several years, he has a lot of wear on him, carried the ball a ton in college.

Good point. But then again, so did Ricky (but of course, he is bigger).

I don't think the Texans will move up to draft a running back. I think if they do it will be for a guy like Winston Justice. There are tons of good players like Jimmy Williams, Leonard Pope, Ashton Youboty are still available.

I thought the Texans would have done themselves good by getting him all along.

I love this kid. See some Priest Holmes in him. There will be a lot of talent there for us at #33. I think Indy might snag him, but maybe they like Addai. If our interest in RB is to be believed, the coaching staff aint sold on Morency.

to get williams i believe we must trade to the 26th pick with cheago because i think that its possible that Carolina at 26 may pick him up
tampay has 23, i think they are looking at justice
cincinnati has 24, they have johnson
Giants has 25 , they might go after him but i think they are safe with Barber

Following the suit of drafting a "need", they will definitely pick up an offensive lineman with #33.....

I can't believe that he is still on the board along with some other big boys..:yahoo:

How about 1 of these falling into our lap?

D Williams of course
Eric Winston
Winston Justice
Lendale White, but I have him pegged going to Pittsburgh without a doubt..

Oh well. The 2006 OROY will go to the Panthers.

He would have been the best available back for the Texans. He reads the open field like no one else I've seen in college. He could find and hit the holes well

I think he looked alot better with two teammates being drafted in the first round with him, that were also on the D-line. Now I'm scared again!

The odd thing is the other DE was given the NC State D player of the year award.

We couldn't trade up to get D'Angelo even with an extra 3rd?? Go figure. We have some horrible drafts by overreaching on a lot of players and not doing enough to get the marquis ones.
