Dallas MN says A.D. announcement may come today

Oklahoma junior running back Adrian Peterson will skip his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft, according to two sources close to the situation.
An official announcement could come as early as Thursday.

This would pretty much put all the top juniors in this years Draft and elevate the value of the Texans #8 pick.

Yea you right. I saw that. Morning News has got egg all over their face on this one.
I see that Peterson is only a few yards from breaking the OU rushing record,
but I think he's a fool if he doesn't come out now. Even with the injuries he's
had, indications are he'd go fairly high in round 1 in the '07 Draft. But if he'd
return to college and have another serious injury, he might then pay a step monetary price when he turned pro.
