Could we trade for Winslow jr.

I'd give up a 3rd and no more. His attitude off the field would create even more problems for our locker room. His attitude on the field would make us better though. Oh and he can't stay healthy...
 
You could package JJ Moses for him. We already have the KR we want that contribute in other areas for the team, and we don't have enough TEs.
 
Would his accident be such an issue if he didn't make such a big deal about his contract and how the Jets would've picked him at # whatever last season?
 
I'd trade a second for him. He may be a headcase... but he'd be a HUGE upgrade at TE (If he plays, obviously).
 
How bout Gaffney and Bruener for Winslow and a 4th rounder? I would love to have Winslow on our team because he has skills and we don't at TE so having him would only make us better, but I don't want him if we have to give up a 1st rounder or a definant starter (Ex:Andre, DRob, Carr. NonEx: Gaffney, Earl)

That pretty much sums it up for me as well. This guy isn't an annoyance, he's a CANCER! I'm not sure his Ego could fit in Reliant Stadium unless the roof was open. It's a shame he's not 1/10th as classy as his dad. :embarrass
 
No thank you ... I'll take my chances with BJoppru & what we currently have as opposed to having him (WinslowJr). He seems to be quite the headcase & not real responsible or serious about his job. God knows we have already have a couple of immature guys on the roster (PBuchannon & APeek) which makes me all the more worried that we lost a veteran leader like AGlenn eek: ... JMO.
 
I like him since I also like the Hurricanes, but if he can't make it a year without getting hurt what would he be to us.
 
This guy is a monster and he is an amazing TE, if he clears up his off field problems and tones down the ego a tad bit he will be quite a superstar. He will be a pro bowler and if you wouldnt give up a 2nd rounder you are crazy. There is no way the Browns would trade him especially for a draft pick. By the time the draft comes around and they could use the pick he should be fully recovered and ready to roll like a soldjah.
 
I wouldn't trade anything for him, because the only reason he would be traded is because his team knew he is permanently damaged. If he'll be back to what he was supposed to be he would never be traded.

R U Serious in the age of the tight end when teams have ends like toney gonzolez and Gates and Shockey you wouldn't trade for a tight end who might be better than all of them man yall are sick. The only attitude he had in college was an attitude to win and i wouldn't fault any player for being passionate about the game. :survivor:
 
Winslow is not worth ANYTHING.

On the off chance that he may have suddenly gotten a wakeup call when he flipped over the handlebars of his rice burner.. I would consider giving a 7th round pick in 2010... but I wouldnt allow him to set foot in our stadium.. not even for practice.. until he proved without a doubt that he had matured to AT LEAST the level of a 9th grader.

He cussed at the media and threw a hissyfit.. yelling "im a soldjah! im a soldjah!"

then he breached his contract, bought a motorcycle, and went stunt driving in a parking lot.. probably forcing him to sit out for a SECOND year and costing him 9+ million dollars.

He is useless.. he is a punk kid who demanded to be paid more than any Tight End in the league IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR. This guy is not worth the **** on David Carr's boot heel.

beleive it or not.. Talent is not all you need to succeed in the NFL :P. You also gotta have self control, discipline, intelligence, and maturity... ON TOP OF an attitude to win. He may have the attitude to win.. but he is entirely bereft of the other 4.

Not only does this guy have a attitude problem, he lacks maturity and any basic common sense. I mean come on, if I had the chance to sign a multimillion dollar contract, but they told me I couldn't ride a motorcycle, guess what I'm not riding a bike, easy as that. Not only did he disregard his contract stipulations, but he is cruising at high speeds and taking sharp turns at 35 mph in a PARKING LOT!, did yall see the security tape! Also another reason why I wouldn't touch this guy is, in less than a year he has already had two leg injuries, one being a knee injury, which nobody even knows the extent of, its not a good sign that Cleveland is being so quiet. Plus we already have a TE that has been unable to get on the field for two years. I say we see what Joppru can do and if he shows us any kind of production or potential and if he doesn't we find his replacement next year

I doubt they bring it back with the same focus on a football team. They made the NFL pretty mad when it aired. Perhaps they could bring it back with the focus of the show a baseball team.
 
KW may be a spoiled kid (his silly actions at time show that) - but he still has TALENT.

Cleveland won't get rid of him, especially for a 2nd. My guess would be more like a 1st and a 2nd, and probably more. As long as his injuries do not effect him long term, he is a STUD. He will be in the upper echelon of TEs (as long as this accident does not effect him long term) - along with Gonzo, Shockey, and Heap. Gates may get there also, if he can repeat. The rest of the TEs are not in the same league as these guys and have a huge effect on every game - which is what makes them worth so much.

By the way, everyone knows he was going about 5 mph in a parking lot when this accident happened, right? Its not like he was out running around with a cycle gang.

The guy (and his dad) are two of the bigger assclowns today.
 
Well reports are starting to leak that Kellen tore his ACL. There is no way anyone would give up a round one or two pick for this guy. People are already talking like he's a hall of famer, but he hasn't proven anything on the field, heck he hasn't even proved he can stay on the field and not only does he still have a rookie learning curve to overcome, but now he has to overcome a major knee injury. When he does make it back he isn't going to be the same player for quite some time, if he ever does regain his form. If I was a Browns fan I would be pissed. Its simple, when your an athlete and your body is your livelihood, don't hop on a sports bike and start doing figure 8s in the middle of a parking lot.
 
His daddy was a stud on the field. Too bad the son is a dud. Bad Karma to come into the league talkin about bein someone, when you mean your daddy.
KW(kellen winsLOW) is as bad as Manning(the youngest edition). I hope neither one are good enough to make an NFL roster. EVER!!! Get off daddy's coattails and go to work before you go running your head.
 
Winslow is an *****. and anyone who talks about how great he is, like a few of you, have no clue about him. so what he was good in college. so was gino toretta. the guy hasn't played much in the nfl and will probably miss this season too. even if he comes back strong his 3rd year, is he really great? no. winslow is a cancer as well as an ***** for not knowing how to ride a bike and crashing. i'd only trade for him if we could get him for matt stevens' jock strap.
