Here is the copy of the letter I sent to fanfeedback hoping it finds its way to the ears of the team prior to the game in Indy if not I just hope they hear it sometime.

Dear Sir:

If somehow you could forward these wishes on to the whole of the Texan
Team and Organization, it would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Texans:

I have followed you guys since your inception in 2002. I have always
stuck by this team through thick and thin and I will bleed red, white
and blue each and every time you guys take the field. No matter what
anyone says about 'us' always hold your head proud. I know there are
a lot of doubters out there but it is time to do what champions do;
and that is dig down deep when times are tough.

It is easy to win when things are smooth and going well, but can you
get back up when your back is against the wall?! Get back up you will
and you certainly will win what will be the start of a serious win
streak, this Sunday in Indy. Hit the Colts hard, fast and often.
Attack first, draw first blood, pump yourself up by any means
necessary, come out with the fire that champions bring. Be Gladiators
for 60 minutes! Fight hard for 60 minutes men, and know that the fans
are fighting and bleeding right there with you. Feed off the energy
around you and when negatives things happen, flip them around and make
it a positive. Now is the time for doing and making things happen.

I think Indy could be the start of a big a** Texas size Snowball of wins.
 
Off topic but I was born in Mt. Holly, and lived in Mt. Laurel / Masonville until I was 14, then we moved to Texas.

Anyway, all that is well and good. The Texans know we are behind them already. But, the better team will win on Sunday. :crying:
 
I would love to win as much as the next guy. I think people are underestimating Indy though. Even if we play at 100% motivation, and they come out flat, they just have the talent that we're lacking on both sides of the ball. Its going to take some "Angels in the outfield" type miracle for us to win this one
 
You realize how close the giants came to winning? I know we can play "what if's" all day but still....the colts can be beat for sure. And wouldn't it be sweet.

The Giants got hosed on that phantom push off call. However they did some other things themselves that cost them the game, like missing a key field goal (Feeley is liability on that team), dropping 3 interceptions, and other stupid penalties. I don't know why they were putting the ball up as much either, the Colts couldn't stop either of their runners. The Giants vs Eagles game will be interesting this week. I think it will give us a true idea of both of those teams, and both the Texans and Colts since they were the former opponents.

All I want is for the Texans to be competitive. Win or lose, make sure the Colts look into the mirror Monday morning and see that they were in fight Sunday.
 
If the Texans win would it be the biggest upset in NFL history? I think us beating Dallas 19-10 was pretty big itself.
Hrm, the Jets beating the Colts in Superbowl III may have something to say about it.


Edit: Has a 2-14 team ever beat a team that was 14-2 the previous year? I really wouldn't know how to look that up.
