The Cowboys look like they are gonna put away the Colts in the 4th.

They are up by 7 & are driving close to the redzone with 2 minutes left.

I figure the Colts ARE going to score one more time if they get the ball again ao the Cowboys need any points they can get here.

My question is would you be more satisfied with a Colts win or a Cowboys win?

Just curious based on the mixed emotions about the Cowboys on this board & the fact that the Colts are in our division.
 
I don't care - I was rooting for the Cowboys - I wanted INDY TO GO DOWN!!!!

I am sick of seeing Manning's smug mug on every commerical.

Rosenfels is no Romo.

Romo has been hyped ever since the Cowboys picked him up.

I dont remember anybody ever hyping Sage as the next great QB.
 
I supported the cowboys for one reason and one reason alone:
In the next few weeks the fantasy football playoffs start. If the Colts lose, then they will know they wont be perfect and will rest peyton during the last few NFL games(the fantasy football playoffs). Thus if peyton sits, I will not theoretically have to face him and the best team in the league is now beatable.

I guess you have not been really following the Cowboy's QBs. Romo was never "hyped ever since the Cowboys picked him". They did not predict he would be the next great QB. He was an undrafted QB from a small college. After they drafted him in 2003, they traded for Drew Henson in 2004. So NO ONE expected him to be a good QB.

Actually I have followed the Cowboys my entire life.

He has been hyped by the fans ever since his first pre-season appearance.

At Eastern Illinois he was a 2-time first team All-American, 3-time conference (Ohio Valley) offensive player of the year, & as a senior he won the Walter Payton Award as the best college football player in the nation (among all players not D-1A).

Just cuz he went to a small school doesnt mean that nobody thought he could be good. Think Jerry Rice at Miss Valley State.

Actually, I was thinking since the Cowboys traded for Henson even though they already had Romo was why they didn't think he (Romo) would be a good starting QB.

He hadnt had a regular season snap yet & the only other QB on the roster was Quincy Carter.

It's not unusual for a team to carry 3 QBs, especially when Carter is the starter, so I dont understand the relevance of Henson to your arguement.

I didn't understand what you meant about Romo being hyped since he was drafted. He was hyped up since THIS preseason 4 years after being drafted is my point. At the time Henson was drafted, yes Carter was the started. But, the reports were the plan was to groom Henson as their starter of the future. Of course, that was just media reports..

Romo was hyped this pre-season, last pre-season, & in training camp during his second year.

Again, he was being hyped by fans so it doesnt mean it was warranted, but people were still excited about him.
