Couple secondary prospects, CB Benjamin Morrison (doubt he falls to Texans 1st) & Xavier Watts, Safety, projected 2nd rd. Realize OL is priority, but they still need to be stacked on Texan Big Board!

Indiana with the first big play! An interception on the Notre Dame 40

Notre Dame responds with an interception by Watts on their 2

And a third interception, right when it looked like SMU had a chance to turn the momentum in their favor. It wasn't a pick 6, but Penn State's offense got a touchdown out of it. 21-0.

SMU's quarterback is Penn State's star defensive player today.

All the talk about SMU and Indiana not belonging in the college playoff and Tennessee gets beat even worse. Really a lackluster weekend with all the blowouts this weekend.
SMU belonged in the playoffs.

Unfortunately the lights were too bright for Jennings.

Round 2 here we go- Penn State vs Boise St in the Fiesta Bowl

Penn State on the board first after Boise misses a FG
7-0 on Tyler Warren TD

Penn State RB's run all over Boise St while containing Jeanty 31-14
Will face the winner of the Sugar Bowl in the semi-final

I read it as "Will face the winner of the Super Bowl in the semi-final" and almost had a stroke... lol

Nick Saban dropping some funny gems on College GameDay this morning. Talks about playing man to man defense and also not giving the opposing team motivation prior to a game with unnecessary talking. If there is a transcript, I'll edit this post and share.

ASU coach scared to punt now? Going for it on 4th & 2 I can see maybe. But 4th & 10 against that defense??? Crazy or what?

If Texas hangs on and wins, the CFP committee may pivot to strength of schedule carrying more weight next year.
This is the 1st year…gotta give it a few years to see how it shakes out. Once SOMEONE gets ahold of this NIL mess and the players stop jumping ship to go to the highest bidder, we can assess it then. But even then, I’m still Not sure that switching to SoS solves the problem either…you’d wind up with want 6 SEC teams and 6 big 10 teams in..or some other highly slanted combination of teams skewed towards those 2 conferences.
