You have got to be kidding me. So if the Texans somehow win 4 out of the last 5 we keep Dom? Dom a good coach? DC maybe but not hc. McNair needs to stop letting his friendship with Capers blind him to the obvious.

I'm not in favor of keeping Capers.

However, one of Capers' problems is that he gives the co-ordinators too much authority. Fangio and Pendry pick the players who play, and Capers doesn't overule them. It may be the same for the plays and schemes too. So in that regard, getting two good coordinators and having a head coach like Capers who lets them do thier jobs would be OK.

I still think he should go because he can no longer motivate this team.
 
Yeah, lets build this team around that great saviour David Carr AGAIN. And while there at it, go ahead and give Capers and Charley (I know everything there is to know about football)Casserly lifetime contracts. This team will never improve under the so called leadership of Casserly and Capers, no matter whom you take in the draft.::twocents:
 
Capers is classy and i respect him for that.. but he's not the motivator that the team needs right now after a season like this one.. you need a hard nose proven winner like..

Gary Kubiak and Brian Billick
 
Have to agree, Capers is a class act. Casserly is not. For the life of me I can't find where he spent his playing days, in college or the pros. To be as football saavy as he claims to be he must have been a 4 year all american and a pro bowler for several years.

Prior to joining the Skins as an unpaid intern in 1977, Casserly spent most of his time at the high school level as a coach and AD. He also played and coached at a small D-III school in Mass (Springfield College) for a couple of years. He may work hard and all that but his accomplishments are among the most overrated in the NFL imo.
