Problem is... no doubt KC would have a scrub start something with opposing teams star players so the player is ejected for X amount of the game.

I say Mahomes' flop out of bounds should be a 15 yd. penalty against the QB and loss of down. That's just straight up dishonest play from somebody who should appreciate the flags when he really is roughed.
