CJ Stroud year 3

If that's the case then what your saying is no different than the letter that his first name starts with, as Lucky pointed out. According to the logic above, that is also a trend.

For me, if it doesn't relate to football performance then why in the world are we talking about it?
Ignore trends if you wish, I'm just putting information out there. Some posters dont like the information I'm putting out there and I dont have to wonder why this is.

It's not a trend, it's just a random, outlying statement. CJ has been on the QB fast track since he was very young, and his character has never been called into question.

If your going to bring this up as an actual reason, the onus to prove how it affects a QB's career is on you.
I'm just giving you the numbers.

Do with them as you wish.

I'm also not saying CJ will never win a SB because it's more likely than not with the current management he will win a SB. In fact if the OL produces this yr he could very well win a SB this yr.

I question the data & how it was gathered. What is their definition of a one parent household. How many years qualify. How many Superbowl winning QBs parents got divorced & how long of a stretch before they were remarried. Nobody has done the research into this. It is not worth anybodies time. Bad data in BS out. Whoever came up with this is just wanting clicks. This is just meaningless noise.

No dude , you’re always trying to find any and everything to knock CJ.

Lol a trend, a freaking trend. What will you come up with next.
This isn't a knock on CJ at all.

But I'm not surprised you took it that way.

What would you say if any poster than me had posted this fact?

I'm pretty sure research has been done and the Google answer is none. That's not clickbait. But hey, if you need to use clickbait to make you feel better about this then good for you. Like I said if anybody can break this trend it's CJ.

No, he has his reasons to put out fake news.

Bob Greise's father, Slick Greise, died when Bob was 10.
Obviously you dont use google.

What you believe is an anomaly, not fake news. It just doesn't fit your narrative.

3 guys in 50 yrs and 2 of those guys are questionable. Plus NMahomes said he used to hangout with his dad in the Yankees clubhouse, so Mahomes wasn't really raised be a single parent.

You do this towards certain players all the times around here. Everyone on this forum knows this little known fact:

Just like Brisco Darlings would say,

Ever since the day one, you’ve been 💩 on CJ, talking down on his upbringing, who he hung out with and this list goes on.

The fact of the matter is you’re always hating.

Like I said, I want CJ to succeed.

I'm just putting info out there. You may not like the info, but I would suggest you google this for yourself. Also if any other MB member had pointed this fact out would you have the same reaction.

I find that hard to believe because you’re always coming up with these crazy things.

And man stop throwing google around when you refuses to post its content on here.

Yes I would’ve disputed the heck out of this no matter who brought it up.

We’ve been on this forum for quite some time now, so you should know this.

Unitas, Griese, Brees, and Mahomes. 1,2,3,4 QBs that grew up in single parent homes. Did not stop them from winning championships. Those are facts. Patrick's father never played for the Yankees, but I'm sure young Patrick was in big league clubhouses through the age of 8, when he father last played in the majors. His parents divorced when Patrick was age 10. CJ's father was in jail since CJ was 13. So Stroud lived in a 2 parent home longer than Mahomes did.

Here are the 2 problems with your posts. One, you have done zero research before making this assertion. I did the research to refute your erroneous claim. You have cryed "google" but have not produced a single link to support your claim.

Two, you are the one with a narrative. You incorrectly posted that Stroud would be the first QB to win a championship from a single parent home? Why would this intrigue you? Why would you think this matters or is important? You will not articulate why? I could speculate, but that's all it would be. You assert that I have a narrative. I have none. I don't see an issue with a QB coming from a single parent home. And there is emperical evidence to support my lack of concern. If I do have an narrative, it's posters that conjure up bogus theories and relate the nonsense as facts.

Use google, you dont have to believe me.

And yes 4 QB's in the history of the NFL is an anomaly if you're correct. (Which you're not) Also look up the definition of the word anomaly while you're at it and describe to me what an anomaly means.

Okay, here are the facts: Google reports that no QB has won a Superbowl that was from a completely fatherless home. Completely in this case means that the father left before that person (future QB) was born.

This is  not the case when it comes to CJ Stroud (or the other QBs that have been mentioned). So while Google mentions the (completely) fatherless fact, putting Stoud into that category is a fallacy, and should be punished with tar and feathering!

Objection sustained and the case is dismissed!

Evidence A: (Completely Fatherless)

Yes, there have been quarterbacks from single-parent homes who have won the Super Bowl. Notable examples include:

Joe Montana - He won four Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers and was raised by a single mother after his parents divorced when he was young.

Ben Roethlisberger - He won two Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was raised primarily by his mother after his parents divorced.

Patrick Mahomes - He won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and was raised by his mother, who was a single parent for part of his childhood.

These quarterbacks have had significant success in the NFL, and their backgrounds reflect the diverse family structures that can contribute to an athlete's development.

Deion Sanders faced criticism for stating a preference for quarterbacks from two-parent homes, a stance that some consider absurd and potentially exclusionary

I guess Steel & Deion think alike. I recommend he change his handle to SteelPrime.

Thanks, so 3 out of 50 and Mahomes is debatable because he spent time with his father.

Never thought I would agree with Sanders on much of anything. 3 out of 50 I can see where Sanders is coming from.

CJ spent time with his father as well dude. His father was a preacher during CJ’s childhood who unfortunately fell on hard times. That’s one of the main reasons why he’s very spiritual and close to God.

Good freaking grief man lol. Like I said we just have to throw crap on the wall hoping it sticks.

Slinging rocks

Can I get an amen.

Still an anomaly

So basically it doesn’t aligns up with your agenda. Up above you said those mentioned had their fathers in the home at some point. But clearly you didn’t really research this nor do you remember what was said before and after we drafted him.

Oh and who did you steal this from anyways?

No QB that looked like Mikey from the Life Cereal commercials but ate Wheaties his entire childhood has ever won a super bowl.

Coincidence...or something more?
I... I have never won the super bowl! Nor have I been on a box of cereal. Heck, I don't even eat cereal.

CJ Stroud is taking us up another notch closer to the big game this season. His father has cheered him on the whole way through college to current and will continue to do so, just not in person. Or...so says my Google machine.
