The Texans looked like a real team. Their quarterback played well. Their defense was solid. They made some mistakes, had some breakdowns and ended up losing to the Giants 14-10. In the end, this probably is as good as they can be. They pushed arguably the NFC's best team deep into the fourth quarter, but at least have something to build upon. Moral victories count when you've lost 21 of 25.

I bring up the Cowboys only because they were on television in Houston opposite the Texans and Giants. The Cowboys aren't the home team. The Houston Texans are the home team. They are the team that should have your heart. They are the only team you should really care about. If you want to watch the Cowboys, move to Plano. Get yourself a T.O. jersey and a facelift. Otherwise, watch your team. I mean, our team.
